worthy take out in Sunnyside or LIC ? After 9:30pm or weekends?

I did the very same thing - avoid Natural Tofu because of the name - and it's become one of my favorites too. The soups are good for two meals if you dump the rice in with it, and the LA Galbi is one of the best dishes you've ever smelled. The scallion seafood pancake is pretty rockin' too.

Good Brunch in Woodside/Sunnyside?

Oh, I can assure you that the Ham & Eggery is a terrific diner breakfast, but it's technically not Sunnyside anymore, IMHO.

Best Bloody Mary in Manhattan (serious research)

I'm a fan of the "Bloody Maria" at Miracle Bar & Grill in the Village. It's got a Spanish twist to it (as evidenced by the name) and goes great with their breakfast burrito. Yummy combination.

cheap and not shabby

I'm a firm believer in Cafe Orlin on St. Mark's Place off Second Avenue (the northeast corner). Works for every possible occasion and diet, serves alcohol (nice wines) and not too expensive at all. Great food.
