Best meal I ever ate:
I've eaten too many good meals to name just one. The food my Italian family cooks.

Travel all the time.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Pasta of some sort...everyone likes pasta.
My favorite comfort food:
cheese toast...good whole grain bread, buttered, topped with mild white cheese and toasted till bubbly.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
I really loved Bonaparte and Da Emma in Montreal; 39 Rue de Jean and Peninsula Grill in Charleston...though there are so many great restaurants all over Europe and every place, from the hamburger joint to the 5 star restaurant, have their own charms.
My most tattered cookbooks:
Once Upon a Tart...Nigella Lawson's Feast...The Bread Baker's Apprentice...Crabtree & Evelyn Cookbook.
