(DFW) Wanted**Steak Sandwiches*** dead or alive (I mean well-done or rare) THIS IS A REAL MEAT EMERGENCY!
Sounds crazy, but Texas de Brazil express in preston center serves an awesome steak sandwich and it is cheap $7
Trying to find a good Americanized Chinese Place
Empress of China is pretty good, I've only been to the one in Valley Ranch, but I believe there are a few others around as well
SushiSamba Dallas now open
Went a few weeks back for dinner, I lived a few blocks from the Village location and went all the time. The Dallas location wasn't quite as fun crowd wise, but the food was just as good. Started with the green bean tempura, batter was light and crispy, just about perfect. Also had the small river crabs (can't remember what these are called), they were good, but not great. For dinner we split the short rib quinotta and omakase. Both were excellent.
Overall I thought the food was great, service decent but not excellent. Two downsides are the incredibly loud music the dj was spinning, and the tables. We sat at a wooden top table that was barely big enough for our drinks, let alone two serving dishes and plates. It was certainly a juggling act to keep from knocking something off.
Anyway, I'll be heading back for more
best burgers in D/FW
I think he meant the Coppell Deli, not diner. The address is 449 W Bethel Rd. in Coppell, it isn't near the stadium, but pretty close to the Cowboys practice facility in Valley Ranch. You do see quite a few Cowboys in there from time to time. Great burgers too! Although for the best I'd vote Wingfields in S. Dallas or Adair's.
