It is! The company is in Vermont. They have a very good website (www.graftonvillagecheese.com). But also you can find the cheese at fine markets. It's wrapped in black wax so that's something to look for. I have seen it at Wild Oats (now Whole Foods, I think). If you're ever near Newport, RI, Max's Market sells it along with fine accompaniments.

What they mean by that is cheddar cheese. Have you ever had Grafton Village's sharp cheddar (aged 5 years)? Divine.

Newport Creamery! They're still here in Newport and Middletown, RI. In fact the original is still standing and going strong in Middletown.

Next time, try Dave's Bar & Grill, 2339 Post Rd., Warwick. Great salads and sandwiches at lunchtime. Dinner too!

If you do go, order a bison burger -- they are delicious! I thought the food there was very good but I do agree it is a bit pricey.

Pour Judgement on Broadway is a pub with great food and a sociable atmosphere. Cafe Zelda is on lower Thames Street and is a pub/restaurant. I have always been pleased with the food there. The Pelham is a good place for live music, so I'm told!

I have recently started up a dinner club in my area (Newport, RI). Any ideas for themes? I think this will be a great way to meet new people and try new recipes...

Restaurant Bouchard is one of my favorite, most romantic places to eat. I highly recommend it. Also, the West Deck. I have always been very satisfied there.
