American Beer Craft Fest-Dinner before?
Happy Friday! I'm heading to the Beer Craft Festival tonight at the Seaport Trade Center from the North Shore. Any suggestions for a casual tasty dinner in the area via public transportation/walking distance? I'm looking to try something new (heard Kingston Station was good) and am open to any suggestions, thanks :)
Non-chain chow in Danvers/Peabody area
If you want to keep it simple and stay on Rt. 1, check out Calitri's--great prices, Classic Italian food & friendly staff on Rt. 1 South (Center St. Exit off of Rt. 1 North). If you follow Rt. 1 North, past Stop & Shop towards old Rt. 1, through a set of lights and past two gas stations on your right and left, there will be 466--good food/people on your left and in the brick plaza on your right is Pontevecchio--great pizza! Also if you are in the mood to grab some good eats to go, by reversing the last directions and heading back in the direction of Rt. 1 South from 466/Pontevecchio and taking a left at the set of lights, The Danvers Butchery lies right around the corner and has yummy prepared salads, dinners & desserts.

Mama Iguana's in NoHo is located around the corner when you are heading towards Smith College, on the right right after Adiamo. Everyday of the weekend between 4-5:30 AMAZING TAPAS for $2. They have great choices and a little goes a long way here. If you like Mexican, you loveeeee it here.

Betty Ann's Sub Shop, Hobart Street, right as you head out of downtown Danvers. Great subs in a small shop that will leave you smelling like pickles when you head out the door.

If you ever make your way to western Massachusetts, Bub's BBQ is the place to go for home cooked ribs, chicken, pulled pork and all you can eat sides. Just outside of the college town of Amherst, Bub's is a great little place for a big meal.
