Getting rid of fish smell after cooking...

I'm not sure how you can get rid of the smell, but I do know that you can soak the fish in milk for a few hours and it should take the smell away from it when you cook it. I don't know if that's dependent on the type of fish or any other conditions though, but it's worth a try.

White Lily flours in Tucson, AZ

I called Williams-Sonoma and they don't have any flours at all, and AJ's also doesn't carry it (I called).

I also called White Lily and they referred me to Foodservice Specialists, Inc. in Phoenix (nearest place). I didn't call since I know a foodservice place isn't going to sell a consumer one bag of flour (if they did, that's a miracle). But I wonder if they would tell me if they sell the flour in Tucson to a store and who that store would be.

Thank you,

Eddie

White Lily flours in Tucson, AZ

I didn't think so, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I've seen a few things about Williams-Sonoma carring it, so I'll call them (they're at La Encantada Mall) and check.

Thank you,

Eddie

White Lily flours in Tucson, AZ

Hi all,

Does anyone know where to find White lily flours in Tucson, AZ (both self-rising and all-purpose - preferrably unbleached)? I've checked many stores - Fry's, Safeway, Wal-Mart, Albertsons, and 99c Only who don't seem to carry it.

Thank you,

Eddie

White Lily self-rising flour - $2.00 a bag?

Well, I don't think they can do anything more than call me up and tell me my order's cancelled and refund my card. It's worth a try.

I'll let you know if it's successful.

White Lily self-rising flour - $2.00 a bag?

Yep, but Google's cache still has the White Lily link. The product page is still up for some reason. I'd think that if they didn't have a few bags in inventory they'd remove that.

White Lily self-rising flour - $2.00 a bag?

Hi all,

It was about in December when they had it, but a Google cache still exists and it shows January 8, 2007.

I think I found it.

Go there, and you find:

The product page is still up. I don't know if I'll be able to order it (they might call me and tell me my order's cancelled), but I will try and order that.

Thanks!

White Lily self-rising flour - $2.00 a bag?

Hi all,

Where I live, White Lily flour is not available (I've checked everywhere - Kroger(Frys), Wal-Mart, Safeway, Costco, etc.). I used to be able to order it for $2.00 a bag, but White Lily's online store is gone. It now costs a little more than $4.00 a bag.

Does anyone know of an online place where I can order for $2.00 a bag?

Thank you,
