I took a few courses at ICE and enjoyed them thoroughly. The intstructors were really approachable and friendly. The facilities are terrific! I highly recommend ICE.

Kosher For Passover - food coloring
For reasons that only my boyfriend and his brother truly understand, I am in need of Blue food coloring that is Kosher for Passover. I can travel to any part of Manhattan to get it...and am totally willing to order it online. Any thoughts on where this item can be purchased? I'm unfamiliar with which stores would have a wide selection of KFP items.

Also a PC victim...the bread tubes are still hiding in one of my cabinets. I haven't used them once in the ten years I've had them. Goodwill, here they come. Another PC mistake: the enormously heavy and awkward stoneware pan. Washing it was a nightmare, it never seemed clean, and it scratched the heck out of my kitchen counters.
Final waste: my waffle maker. It turns out I really don't like to make them or eat them.
30th Bday Bash
Ruby Foo's on the UWS is excellent for groups...and vegetarians. I had a birthday party there a few years back, twelve people with diverse dietary requests. It was a terrific time. There was no singing but after a few of their special cocktails we kept ourselves entertained. Noise level is loud.
restaurant near 9 ave and 48th???
Arriba Arriba's at 51st and 9th. Awesome, awesome mexican food and killer margaritas.
Also great: Uncle Nick's Tapas bar, on 9th ave, between 50 and 51. Fun place to share terrific Greek tapas.
