Cask - Murray Hill
Had a great meal at Cask the other night. Fantastic Lamb Burger and their Crab Cake is one of the best I ever had.

Need a new 29th Birthday Party locaiton asap!!
Go with Asian. Its less expensive, vege friendly and rarely price ifx
Restaurant suggestions for a 40th birthday for 40 people
I had 3 hours open bar and passed apps which were 7 different ones and plenty of food for $100 per head at BLT Fish. Sit down dinner on top of that was not necessary and would have added an additional $50 per person
John Dory Oyster House - Horrible Experience
The original John Dory was a huge flop. Now second time around I have not seen any positive reviews. Doesnt look promising.

Random V-Day pop in. Great find
Walking around doing so shopping with my SO we randomly stopped into a place called Planca right around W4th street. No tables so we sat at the bar. Its a Peruvian place The cerviche was one of the best I have ever had. The rotisserie chicken obviously the house specialty was fantastic, also had the short ribs which were great and a nice portion size. Really good dipping sauces served with the chicken as well. Definitely will be going back there.

Need lunch recommendations in Murray Hill
Pull out the current furniture, put in some couches and low tables, focus on the great cheese and meat. Drop the entree prices a notch. Save the place.
Need lunch recommendations in Murray Hill
I think Bistro Lamazou really missed the mark with the decor and the price point. The food is good but the atmosphere is just off. Its too dark for the industrial type decor and with a small client base it always appears closed or closing. I also think the price point it too high for the neighborhood.
Foodie V-Day destination?
Not meaning to sound snarkey but, you are looking for a V-Day reservation on the 13th? You will likely end up in a small hol ein the wall spot, not that your meal cant be great but also is a big risk. I would suggest you try Klimat in the LES. Fantastick eastern european food.

Steak: The Palm (original) vs. Wolfgang's (original)
Great rant. I hate the excessive wine pouring waiter. The bottle is on the table right in front of me, there is wine in my glass. I can pour more when I am ready..Step off!

Sat night steakhouse dinners are a hurricane. Not a relaxed atmosphere at all.
Intimate Relaxed Atmosphere with Great Food?
Definitely would reccomend Apizz for dinner. Its dark, excellent food, warm, not stuffy.

Need the ambience says "Wow! We're not in Kansas anymore!"
Very interesting. The fact that a "famous" NYC pizza place would lend its name and not have anything to do with the quality of the product is curious. Imagine Johns or Patsys doing that?

The one on 2nd ave and 27th street closed about a year ago. No idea why but its too bad.

Valentine's in NYC
You wont be dissapointed. I hope you asked for a table by the window when making the reservation. Also. The TWC is a nice place to walk around before or after. You can even get a drink in one of the other restaurants there.
Valentine's in NYC
You should make a reservation ASAP to at least have a back up. Steakhouses are great for V-Day. Porterhouse in the Time Warner Center could be real nice if you get a table overlooking Central Park.
