I like to use it as a spread on sandwiches. miso, tahani, avocado, sprouts, tomato, arulgula. heavenly. |

inspired by the 5$ lunch in pasadenda thread: what about 5$- i mean only 5, in the hollywood/melrose/weho area. when i lived in San Francisco i could eat mexican, italian, chinese, indian, almost any cuisine for 5 $ OR UNDER. in LA, i'm kinda missing that. |

M-Cafe Chaya, what does anyone have to report? for sides: i love the french lentils and the kale. some of the best flavors out there. the madras tempeh wrap is incredible for a cold sandwich. the BBQ seiten is amazing for a hot one. and the bo bim bop is great too. avoid the salads. their too expensive for what you get. |

sad news about Nicky D's pizza in Silverlake i ordered pizza from there once, about 3 months ago. it was all floppy and greasy. unedible. it sat in my kitchen for two hours before i threw the whole thing in the trash. i'd never done anything like that before. absolutly disgusting. |
