Easter Sunday Lunch/Brunch in Newport Beach Area - ethnic meal ok
Looking for a place for party of 6 (including 2 kids) to have a meal in or near Newport Beach this Sunday...not necessarily celebrating Easter - just getting together. Open to a good Easter-type meal or buffet OR interested in a place for good dim sum or other casual ethnic cuisine.

London on January 1st
I am arriving in London mid-day on January 1st. Any suggestions on where to eat that night? Options will be limited because it's New Year's Day but perhaps there are some clever suggestions. We are foodies/hounds and open to anything - fancy or down and dirty.
Christmas Day in Paris
I am arriving in Paris on December 25 in the afternoon -- any suggestions of what to do for dinner that night (Dec 25)? Obviously the options will be limited because of the holiday but perhaps you have suggestions? It will be me and my boyfriend and we are foodies/hounds and open to anything.
Group of 8 in the city - Need recommendations please
We got reservations at Rose Pistola and Laiola - thoughts?
Group of 8 in the city - Need recommendations please
My boyfriend and I are meeting about 6 of his relatives in SF for dinner on Saturday, December 29th. The boyfriend and I are foodies...not sure about the relatives. Would love someplace that works for a group of 8, kinda groovy in some way or another and great food, of course. Don't want to be obnoxious and pick someplace too fancy or expensive for the group. We are staying at The Clift. Would loves some recommendations.
Thanks!
Ojai for foodies?
Am going to Ojai for the weekend...where should I eat? Would love suggestions for any meal, snack, wine, etc.
Los Angeles to Napa
I am driving up to Napa from LA next weekend and would love suggestions for great places to stop for food along the way. Am open to anything - just want to break up the trip with some great foodie finds!
Cooking schools?
The New School Of Cooking in Culver City is the best....their recreational classes are awesome!

A few faves....
Mexican: Loteria Grill at the Farmer's Market at 3rd & Fairfax
Malaysian/Singapore: Banana Leaf, also at the Farmer's Market at 3rd & Fairfax
Japanese Noodles: Chabuya on Sawtelle
Good Neighborhood Thai: Tuk Tuk on Pico near Robertson
Prepared Foods/Take Out/Sandwiches: Joan's On Third in W. Hollywood (expensive!) and Clementine in Century City
Dinner half way between LA and San Diego
I need to meet someone for dinner about half way between LA and San Diego. Any suggestions? I'm a foodie. He's not. He'd be happy at the Cheesecake Factory. I wouldn't. Fire away.
Los Angeles Cooking Class Recommendations
