i would also pick urasawa and melisse for carte blanche tasting menu.

2nd spago as great l.a. dinning scene.....also cut, not so much of california cuisine but most likely will see some celebrity in the room
Which would you pick?
i would also pick '02 over '05. i believe '05 is riper year and besides....'02 has 3 more years of bottle age :)

when i think of "california cuisine" first place that comes to my mind is tasting menu at spago out in the patio
ISO best bbq in l.a.?
what stood out the most for everyone was how good bludso's brisket!
i think the quality of the meat might be better with bigmista's, we notice that his ribs and brisket was much leaner and bludso's was very fatty. we also thought bludso's was little more smokier.
they were both great! but last night bludso's edged out bigmista's.
ISO best bbq in l.a.?
not sure who neil is but the majority did like bludo's better last night.
ISO best bbq in l.a.?
ok...gonna get both and compare today.....just came back from bigmista's with slab, brisket and pulled pork. going to get same at bludo's little later and see which one our guests would like :)
ISO best bbq in l.a.?
thinking of going to bludo's or bigmista's for brisket, slab of ribs, tri tip etc...or where is the best bbq in l.a. lately?
thanks
Langers was good but............
i agree 100%......when i think pastrami....langer's comes to mind first
Where can I find the world's best burrito?
