Explain lame New York breakfasts?

My husband and I go to the Landmark diner for breakfast. Never had a complaint. They have fresh squeezed juices and the hashbrowns are always nice and browned. Pancakes are good too.

Molly's Cupcakes - Ron Bennington

Also had the Ron Bennington and tried a few others. I agree that they have too much icing not enough cake. The cappucino was my favorite.

SHO or Lincoln Ristorante for a business dinner

That's the hard part. They are a bunch of young, internet guys looking for buzz but also want to have a cocktails with about 15 people and then settle down to a business dinner where they can talk without screaming. Buddahkan was also mentioned. THe problem is that the restaurant research was started out of state. So some touristy names have been dropped.

They loved Del Posito.. Except they didn't have a round table.

SHO or Lincoln Ristorante for a business dinner

I am planning a board meeting dinner and I am leaning towards SHO. They have a salon/bar area that would work for cocktails/appetizers before a sit down at a private round table dinner.
The board wants hip but were asking about Daniel and LeBernadin-while i love LeBernadin it is hardly what i consider to be hip. Last time they went to Del Posto. I don't know too much about Lincoln..I'm open to any ideas and any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

3 Kings Cake for 12th Night (W 1/6)

Had one from Payard- according to a true Frenchman it tasted like the real deal. I thought it was delicious. I didn't get the prize which was a gold race car similar to the Monopoly race car.

Best restaurant bars for drinks

I think Rayuela is very pretty and I love the Shochu-Sake cocktail. Have one or three, they go down very easily. The guacamole and chips are a good snack for the bar.

After Theatre Drinks?

We enjoyed a couple of drinks here after the theater. The lounge was comfortable, and the fireplace was a nice touch. Not too loud that you coulnd't have a conversation.

Calling all Degustation pros / fans....

Go for the 10 course. They have always asked us if there is anything we don't care for. My husband and I agree to try anything they put in front of us and are never disappointed (even with sweetbreads). Even if you hate it, its only one or two bites and you move on to the next surprise. LOVE LOVE LOVE Degustation.

Little italy NYC

If you don't want a sausage and broccoli rabe sandwich from Lucy's- i think the stand is on Grand and Mulberry , head to Fiat Cafe on Mott Street. The food is great- the prices are reasonable.

Need some help with a birthday dinner in June - I promise I'll be specific in my post!

I love Degustation for the food, service and entertainment. I have never been disappointed with the 10 course tasting menu. I have been to Craft, and while I enjoyed it, I haven't felt compelled to return.

Chinatown fruit report [Old]

The Lady of Mulberry and Canal graciously sold me just a pound ($9.00)of Mangosteens because i got sticker shock when she told me the price of the bag of them would be $28.00. Now i wish i bought them all. I enjoyed every one of them. MMMM Her mangoes and grapes were cheap and delicious.

NEED GREAT LUNCH REC FOR LUNCH in TRIBECA this Friday

Just had a Graduation lunch for my son at Locanda Verde. The service was superb, the food was excellent. (those lamb sliders are a must try) and the table had plenty of elbow room for the six of us.
