cooking classes?

Sur La Table is opening in the new Domain area and they have cooking classes (http://www.surlatable.com/category/cu...). Austin is not listen yet but I'm sure the Austin location will have culinary classes as well.

Breakfast Tacos and Migas in Austin

No one's mentioned Taco Deli! This is one of my favorite taco places in Austin. They use the freshest ingredients (mojo fish taco is really great) and they're open very early for breakfast (papas-eggs-avocado breakfast taco is my fav).

Best restaurants in houses

I second that - the Gypsy Grove and the Roasted Lamb sandwiches are great

Where's the heat?

The New Oriental Mart (On Airport and Lamar - near Big Lots) has a cafe inside that serves Jam Bong - it's a Korean seafood noodle soup that is very very spicy. I'd give it a try if you're looking for the super spicy bowl of red (the soup is very red).

I think he moves around quite a bit. The last time I went was in Sept 2006 and he was near the Sheraton near Robson St.

Ouch, a Trip to...Plano?

Ocean Seafood Grill on Parker and Independence has really great seafood (blackened catfish is really good) at a good price. Lunch specials are around $6 and dinner is around $10.

Dallas Chinese???

Here are some places:

Cafe Mandarin (shopping strip next to Maxim) and order the spicy wontons (12 pcs) and the Dan Dan Noodles - that's if you like spicy stuff.
If you don't, the mustard pork noodle soup is really good.

King Noodle - a little more south on Greenville (new shopping center with the optical store) and order the Beef Dry Noodles. SO good :)
