most recently, lunch at Finca la Anita, a macadamia nut farm in Costa Rica that is a wonderful place to visit. The food is fresh, local and made with love.

My favorite comfort food:
Pasta and meat sauce, like my mom used to make. With a big glass of milk and parmesan garlic bread (although I'll skip the Kraft grated parm for some reggiano these days, thankyouverymuch).
My most tattered cookbooks:
"Canadian Cookbook" (I think that's the name anyway). When I first moved away from home I used to run to this book frequently for basics. (E.g. Quick! How to boil an egg?) I don't have many cookbooks, but find a lot of recipes on various internet sites. I guess I'm a product of my age.
