Looking for any unturned stones in or near Gurnee Thanks for the suggestions! We're going to check out Himalayan and Kyriaki, and we'll stop at Scotty's for Chicago dogs before we head up to Chicago. We'll be staying at the Hilton/Magnificent Mile for two days. We're going to miss Taste of Chicago, but are excited about taking the water taxi to Chinatown. We've created quite a list of Chicago Area Chowhound-recommended restaurants to visit while we're downtown. Thanks, everyone! |

Looking for any unturned stones in or near Gurnee Have any new gems opened in the area? We'll be visiting relatives June 24-27. We love ethnic food or food that's unique to the Chicago area. |

Has Bowen's Island Really Reopened? Bowen's Island restaurant is open! Haven't been there yet --- I'm waiting for the crowds to die down a bit. |
