Dinner - Before the Marathon

Hi,
Heading down from Boston for the Marathon. First time to Philly. We are looking for restaurant recommendations (probably Italian) since it's the night before the marathon. We are staying at the Westin Hotel so wouldn't mind if it was walking distance or a short cab ride away. Any recommendations for places that offer delicious food, not over the top expensive and romantic atmosphe (I'll be w/ my hubby)?

Thanks!

Stowe Restaurant Recommendations

Hi,
We'll be in Stowe this weekend with good friends (we are 2 couples in their mid forties). Looking for dinner recommendations for Saturday night. Has anyone been to Lagniappe (it's a restaurant in the Ten Acres Lodge)? It was rated number 1 for restaurants on Tripadvisor so I was curious to hear a review. Food is cajun/creole. Also, would love any recommendations for restaurants that are nice (ie., good/great food, nice atmosphere but are not off the charts expensive). Looking for most entrees in the 20s price range not the 30s. Thanks for any suggestions/help you can offer!!

Boston Restaurant Recommendations for Large Group

Hi,
I have about 12 - 15 people (all friends) wanting to do dinner in Boston on a Saturday night (at the end of Sept.). Looking for fun/nice atmosphere, good food that is not too pricey (entrees in the 20s would be great). Age range of friends is late 30s to mid 40s. Any suggestions?!

Thanks!!

CAV vs Mill's Tavern in Providence

Hi,
My husband and I are looking for a restaurant in Providence to celebrate our birthdays this Saturday night. I was lucky enough to get a reservation at both of the restaurants above. Now I can't decide which one to cancel. I would appreciate any feedback (good and bad) for both restaurants. We are hoping for an evening of great food, service and ambience. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Restaurant for Very Large Group (100+)

Hi,
I work at a college outside of Boston. We are hosting a group of MBA students from a university in Spain in about a month. We are taking them to dinner on a Friday night. I am looking for restaurant recommendations. The past few years we've gone to Durgin Park in Quincy Market. Good prices and location (plenty of bars around for them to enjoy after dinner) but it's gotten old. We need a new location. Price is an issue. We need to keep the cost to about $35 - $40 per person (that would include one glass of wine with dinner).
Any recommendations/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Romantic restaurant in Soho or Little Italy

Hi,
Traveling to NYC on saturday with my hubby. I'd like to take him out for a nice dinner in soho, greenwich village or little italy that has nice atmosphere. Not looking for something too expensive since we're going on a weeks vacation the end of the month. Just something with good food and atmosphere. We're both in our late 30s. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Restaurant Choices in Portland, ME

Hi,
My husband and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary this Saturday in Portland. We live in Boston, but we're spending the night at a hotel in Portland. I am torn between two restaurants, Five fifty-five or Hugo's. What are your thoughts? For a special (and hopefully romantic) dinner is one better than the other??

Thanks for your help!!
