Take Out or Counter Service Recs in Downtown

Hi,

Don't enjoy sitting down to dinner by myself in a restaurant (kind of an insecurity). Anybody have any decent recs that would preclude this in Downtown New Orleans. I am in town for the marathon. Thanks so much.

Spicy Asian Soup Search

Hi,

I am looking for some great Asian soups (of all types). Have had some wonderful spicy ramen in Japan that picqued my present interest.

Any ideas? I have tried a few places at the Super 88 courtyard which were decent, but not great.
