Solstice Cafe, Bingen WA
Feh. I went there on my birthday last August. It was uncomfortable and expensive. I used to serve better food in Stevenson.
The rest of the continent
In Places: Regions, I would like to be able to search information about, and comment on, food in places other than the urban edges of the continent. Boston, New York, Washington, LA, the Bay Area. In Places: Regions, one cannot add a place outside those regions. I find this a bit exclusive for my taste.
The rest of the continent
Why can't the majority of us, who do not live in Bosnywash or coastal California, add information about food in the provinces? People cook and eat innovatively and well in places (*gasp*) without a subway.

Goose Point Oysters from Willapa Bay are absolutely delicious. I served them raw and fried with confidence and delight. My customers raved.
razor clam recipes
Oh, please don't cut them up, they're so beautiful whole. All you have to do is get out the meat mallet and lightly pound the frilly part. Then I would bread them with panko (yeah, I know, but dang, it's good) and quickly fry them on a griddle. I've served these in a restaurant with a huckleberry tartar sauce, it was good enough to make you drop your eyelids in delight.
Moscone conference, Hotel Adagio: where to eat?
Tu Lan, on 6th St just south of Market, is close to Moscone. Best Vietnamese imperial roll EVER. Tiny hole in the wall -- sit at the counter and watch the guys cook. Henry's Hunan, 924 Sansome, is an absolute must: have the Hunan smoked ham with garlic. Yowza!
