Boinsoiree or Table Fifty two
Staying at westin michigan Ave and given these restaurants as a must...Only one day available...What do you think??
Which would you select?
Trying to choose between 3 completely different styles for a night out....Do you have an opinion? Cafe des Architect...Carnivale...or Table Fifty Two??? Any help appreciated..
Carnivale?
Looking for a fun restaurant while in Chicago next month. Anyone been there recently and is it worth a cab ride from Michigan Ave?
oysters
The best Rocky Mountain Oysters are on a small Amish farm near the Indiana Line.....otherwise...Stick to Shaws
Lux Bar brunch?
ATE SUNDAY BRUNCH LAST WEEKEND, AND FOUND DELIGHTFUL. WEATHER WAS GREAT SO WE ATE OUTSIDE, STREETFRONT...AND VERY LIVELY CROWD FOR EARLY AM...I RECOMMEND EGG SANDWICH...ENOUGH FOR A FULL MEAL.
Vietnamese in the Chicago area
My favorites are Le Colonial and LeLan.....my favorite being the former...Very romantic and good
need help on a decision
In town for labor day weekend...Eating at Blackbird on Saturday, but trying to decide on good Italian for Sunday. We have reservations at Pane Caldo currently since we are staying nearby at Sutton Place. Have not seen recent reviews. Have been to Spiaggia in past, but looking for slightly less formal...Any opinions?...Thanks in advance.
Il Mulino or Pane Caldo
Looking for a memorable Italian dinner...been to Spaggio...and staying at Sutton Place near Pane Caldo....After looking at reviews, unsure where we might find nicest evening...Coco Pazzo also an option...HELP?
Which two out of three?
We are in Chicago on labor day Weekend and always like to try restaurants that are new to us. have reservations at Graham Elliott and Blackbird as well as Pane Caldo? Any recomendations on which way to go?
Romantic Lunch Spots
I recommend you try Le Colonial, a Vietnamese restaurant on North Rush....Fun atmosphere....dark but not too dark..with great wood bar....fans...and great food...perfect for a few hours out of the rush of Rush
The lobby for Lunch
Thinking of going to the Lobby for lunch on Saturday. I know is rather pricey, but does anyone have recent experience there or are we better off eating somewhere nearby...i.e. Le Colonial or such... Is it a good experience for a shopping break?
Most romantic of these 2 italian restaurants
Currently also deciding between Coco Pazzo and merlo on maple....Both appear to have their fans regarding cuisine, but atmosphere also important... Does anyone have an opinion on the ambience? Visiting from ohio and always like to take in the experience...especially since here the best restaurant is Mr. Steak..:)
Le Lan or le Colonial
Trying to decide on which would be more interesting for dinner. Also pricewise, are they comparable?
naples lobster roll
I think you are speaking of Turners Lobster house on the city docks. Also have them at Captain brians in marco. The BEST seafood however is trulocks on 5th ave
ReLo to Grand Rapids, MI
I too was at spectrum Butterworth back then....you will be pleasantly surprised with the restaurants...havent been there in years though
kendall culinary dining room
We will be in Chicago only 1 nite this time and made reservations at the school for dinner.....thought about merlo on maple but decided on something different. Worth the trip? Thanks
one day for dining
Always look for new places.. Tentatively have lunch at Cocco Pazzo cafe and dinner at Kendall Culinary School...OK choices?
