Brown Basmati--Wow.

We also cook our brown basmati in a rice cooker and my experience is it takes quite a bit longer than white basmati - twice as long maybe.

I can't say I am crazy for the taste by itself (tastes like a hospital), but we usually eat it with super hot curry so it isn't so noticable. It is much more nutritious than white basmati so that for us, it makes up for the different taste...which one could grow to like, I suppose.
