3 Great Dinners in Las Vegas
Thanks so much for your reply! Price really isn't the issue. We are really more concerned with a fun, lively atmosphere and food that a 17 year old boy would love. He is pretty basic but can appreciate good food. Big brother is away at college so he is stuck going on vacation with the parents alone for the first time. We want it to be fun for him. We are staying at the Venetian for the first half of the trip, off to Zion Natl Park and then back to the Bellagio. This is going to be all about the Strip so we want to stay around there.

My husband and I are taking our 17 year old son to Las Vegas next week. It will be his first trip there. We need suggestions for 3 dinners. We are thinking Mesa, Rao's or Olives, and Delmonico but don't want to make any mistakes. He isn't a picky eater but also isn't too adventurous.
Any help will be very appreciated!

The Ketchum Grill is always really good. Service is sometimes a little grumpy but the food makes up for it. CKs in Hailey is also great. Worth the drive from Ketchum.

For a return trip to Charleston, consider staying at The Wentworth Mansion. It is gorgeous and you would get a true Charleston experience. Also, The French Quarter Inn is great and right off the Market.

We will be in San Francisco for our sons 16th birthday. We would love ideas of a great place to celebrate! We were hoping to celebrate at Zuni but it's booked. He has added that he would like seafood for his birthday dinner.

We are coming from South Carolina and aren't really looking for the tomato based, garlic bread Italian dining experience. We went to an anazing place several years ago in North Beach but can't remember the name. Just something authentic with fresh ingredients and good atmosphere. We will be traveling with 2 teenaged boys who love to eat great food! Thank you all for the help!

I would be remiss if I didn't include The Pennsulia Grill on my list. It really is great, although expensive, but worth it. Please order the coconut cake for dessert. It is unforgettable and a local legend. We order it from 100 miles away for special occasions. One cake weighs 17 pounds. Also, Anson's is very good. Where are you staying?

We live in South Carolina and were in Charleston 2 weekends ago and again last night! Fulton Five is great, our favorite! Go to Olde Towne for a gyros and to AW Shucks for great fried seafood. Also, Rue de John on John St is great bistro food. Have fun!

I forgot to mention that we will be celebrating a 16th birthday while we are in San Francisco! Steak is his favorite food! Harris' keeps coming up as the best steak in SF. Is that where we should celebrate?

We will be in San Francisco for 6 nights in March and would love some great dining suggestions.
