Thank you again for your website and advice! I am looking for a commercial bread I can buy in my local grocery store that is primarily made of rice and spelt. Looking to lose weight and have read that bread made of rice and spelt versus whole wheat bread flour is better for losing weight.

Any advice/suggestions and links would be appreciated!

The Sunnyvale on 16 about 10 min south of Pizza Barn has been there forever. However, it is new owners and a new bar/restaurant area. Stick to the basics and report back please! I stopped in for a quickie beer/app and it was so - so. Love to hear any more reports!

+1 for the Pizza Barn and Delaney's - StoneHurst Manor is step above and +1 for the seafood buffet at the White Mountain Hotel, also Eagle Mt House's brunch - excellent.

Purity spring resort is a great family resort - don't expect gourmet but decent food and a GREAT resort wtih GREAT people at a GREAT prices.

Thank you for your advice! Husband and I are going to a seminar in Portland for two nights in late April and Sat night will be our dinner out. We haven't been to dinner in Portland. We are looking for rec's for a good steak for hubby and I enjoy a great salad and am open to any recommendations. We would love a place that has decent prices for a good wine list. Continuing my search for my perfect fit toaster convection oven as I cannot afford the Breville as I'm out of a job! I saw a DeLonghi toaster convection rotissier oven today at the Kitchen Etc. store for $80. less than even the Cuisinart!

Anyone have this model R02058 - I'm interested in the rotissier too, no other models have this and its a bit smaller footprint than the Cuisinart.

Thank you all so much - I did find several threads on this subject and all were very helpful.

I'm having difficulty deciding whether we need a convection but from what I gathered reading all the threads if one is using a small toaster oven cooking for two it does help alot with the even heating so I can't think why not spend the extra $$ for the convection.

After almost 10 years, my DeLongi convection oven heat rod has died (sigh...). I loved my small convection oven cooking for two. Have done alot of research on this board and am still confused. Would like a smaller convection at a smaller price due to both DH and I losing our jobs, but have to replace this kitchen item.
would appreciate advice on brand and any links for the best price.

Hi Joe, we just had my cousins wedding at the Eagle Mountain House in Jackson and probably the best brunch I have ever had. Salmon, prime rib, salads, chocolate unbelievable, etc. etc. Wonderful - and the drive up from the town is just awesome! We had a GREAT salad the day before at the Christmas Farm Inn in Jackson, the fish dish was wonderful too. Also, I have heard the Stonehurst Manor near Glen is great. Had a great ceasar salad at Delaney's in No. Conway too. Have fun and report back, please!
