Apollo Restaurant in Lynn
A new restaurant opened last week on Neptune Blvd in Lynn. Apollo Restaurant has a wood fired grill for their Greek food. They grill lamb, pork, chicken. We had the lamb and pork. The food was delicious, portions are good and prices are reasonable. They have a large seating area or they will pack to go. Other items on their menu are seafood, hamburgers, chicken fingers and salads. Will return to try other items.
The Blue Ox
The Blue Ox is the third restaurant in the same location on Oxford Street, Lynn, MA. The new owners expanded into the space next door, making it a bigger restaurant. The food was delicious! The prices are reasonable. We were a party of 5. We all enjoyed our meal. We had a variety of foods. .. Haddock, Steak, Pork Tenderloin, Pasta, and Hamburger. Will be making another reservation soon!
Matchbox on Capitol Hill
Love their pizza! Went for drinks and was happy to find experienced bartenders like Jessica. Had good drinks and good pizza! Will go back!
Best restaurant in Marblehead?
Tried Jack Tar's again and had two delicious dinners. We had chowder, warm potato chips and one cod dinner baked and the other fried. Everything was delicious.

We ordered from the Lounge Menu. There were 5 of us so we ordered one of each. We had Chicken Wings, Kobe Sliders, Dumplings, Tuna Tartare, OliveTapenade & Hummus, Shrimp and Scallop Springrolls, the handcut French Fries, and Margherita Pizza. The wine list is extensive. The Asian Pear Martini was the best!

You must eat at The Source! The food is delicious! We choose to sit and eat at the bar. It was so much fun. The bartender, Pete, had excellent recommendations. He was very attentive and personable.
Chef Scott Drewno is excellent. Everyone in our party loved what they ordered.

Downtown Bistro and Wine Bar in Lynn Is Closing
Chef David Fitzgerald, Jon Larkin the Manager, and some of the waitstaff of the Downtown Bistro of Lynn will be working at a Ecco Restaurant, which is planning to open in late September in East Boston. The website is www.eccoboston.com.

There were 4 adults and one child. With drinks, food and dessert it was over $300.

They have new interesting martinis. All the cocktails are done with fresh juice. They are so good. The food is still delicious with a creative presentation. If you check their website they have wine tasting diinners. Not expensive at all.
Bonfire Steakhouse
Went to Bonfire Steakhouse in the Park Plaza Hotel with my family. The food, wine and desserts were delicious. Our waiter Alberto made excellent recommendations on wine, food and dessert. We started with empanadas and fresh guacamole. The caesar salad had a creative presentation. Our party had both paella and steaks. We had a very enjoyable evening which included a ten year old.

Downtown Bistro, Lynn,MA
New restaurant in Lynn on Oxford Street called Downtown Bistro. Food was good and prices reasonable.
Cancun, MX
We had a delicious meal at Puerto Madero in Cancun. Our party had both seafood and steak. Portions are large. Our waiter had excellent recommendations on wine and food. The desserts were just as delicious as the meal. Reservations recommended.
Restaurant Week
We took advantage of restaurant week and had dinners at Pigalle and 209 Boston. We had delicious food at both places. Great to try new restaurants for such a small price!

Upscale steak and seafood. Similar to Abe and Louie's or Capitol Grille.

Loved the food at Panella's! But....dining room too small for large parties. They squeezed our party of 8 in. They insisted on a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night but weren't seated till 7:00.

Emeril's Nola?
We just got back from New Orleans and a wonderful meal at NOLA's. We were seated on the second floor and had attentive service. I would not recommend Riche at Harrah's.
Riche at Harrahs is VERY disappointing
Cannot recommend Riche. Waited 35 minutes with a reservation. Dining room was not crowded. Hostess told me one reason for the wait. Manager told me another reason for the wait. Food was delayed and an excuse was given. There are so many wonderful restaurants in New Orleans...Riche is NOT one of them. Manager was indifferent that I was angry and disappointed with our whole dining experience. Todd English should stay in Boston.
