Best meal I ever ate:
Recent in-home hosted wine dinner, each wino prepared a course and brought a paired wine. Phe-nominal!
My current drink of choice:
Wine, Champagne. Recent higher end favs: Bodegas El Nido, El Nido 2005 and Krug Champagne. Everyday favs: Spanish Cava (sparkling) Spanish red wines, just about any Tempranillo or a red from the Jumilla region.
I really wish I could:
Win the lottery...must buy a ticket.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Dinner: Beef tenderloin and/or cedar plank steelhead trout. Otherwise- Tapas! Spicy Citrus shrimp cocktail, artisan cheese plate, marcona almonds, assorted olives, roasted cherry tomatoes with baby mozzerella, mini crab cakes (or "crab balls")
My favorite comfort food:
Stephano's Eggplant Rolatini with extra sauce, a real *Maryland* crab cake, Truffled Mac and cheese, my mushroom leek soup
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
