Thanks for all the input. Since I will be on my own but with wheels, I'll just have to decide when I get to town what type of food I want before choosing between all the recomemndations.

We love BackStreet Bistro which is Italian and just off 111. Good food which is moderately priced.

Looking for some suggestions for good food restaurants in Palm Springs area... not the fancy places but the hidden gems that have great food at reasonable prices. Ethnic food would be great as well as good American/California fare. HELP!!!
Dining in Bellevue
Will be driving to the Seattle area tomorrow and wondered if I should buck the traffic to eat in town or if there are any really good but not fancy restaurants in the Bellevue/Kirkland area??
Best food of the best in Portland
If you are mobile, there are a few great restaurants not on your list. The best Thai food in town is at Chabba Thai on Sandy Boulevard. For breakfast, Detour Cafe on Division is great. Nuestra Cucina on Division is very good for dinner as is Chameleon at 40th and NE Sandy which few people ever talk about but the chicken wraps and lamb chops are the best in town.
