Palermo's Pizza Rosa

the pizza rosa is the key. i discovered palermo about two months ago and have yet to be disappointed. I liked the salads..the Italian dressing is signature and super tasty. the food is pretty simple...i've yet to try the pasta..i don't think i'll ever want to..... stick to the PIZZA ROSA...so good. i've been there four times since my first visit. The place is what it is... main stream Italian.

Hoagies & Wings

i just tried it and i loved it. I'm a big fan of buffalo style anything. so the wings part is what lured me. i have yet to try the hoagies. though i am sure i will love it. i have a preference for po boy style sandwiches. the buffalo wings were tasty. just the right amount of spice. The blue cheese dressing taste homemade..thick with chunky blue...it's delightful. the second time....i once again went with buffalo style. chicken fries this time. basically a pile of french fries with a diced up crispy chicken breast on top. (fry like) the whole thing is drenched in buffalo sauce..not a dry fry to be found. it was a bit overwhelming, but delicious.... i'm looking forward to my next visit....i'm planning to try the garlic parmesan hoagie...my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

note...my one gripe with hoagies & wings is the chicken breast texture is compressed style...slightly reminiscent of frozen chicken you find at the grocers and or McDonnell's. still super delicious...

enjoy !

Flavored cream cheese in La ?

thanks so much... now i've got some places to try...and some food politics to think about.
i've driven past the bagel factory...now that you mention it...i always thought it was just a catchy name for a traditional type jewish bakery..(knowing they come a dime a dozen along pico in that neighborhood)...but i'll try it now that i know they mean bagel business for real.
also the hazelnut at panera has peaked my interest.
thanks again...will see what happens.......in my mouth.
