Absolute best burger in Chicago?
For a great burger a bit off the beaten path and not really in CHICAGO but in the burbs is Paradise Pups. It is a little stand on Desplaines River Road, no seating inside, just great burgers, cheese fries and shakes.

We are planning a family brunch and need to include both sides of the family. My family is Cambridge, spouse's family is Providence.
We have done the "hotel brunch" and are looking for something with good food. They must take a reservation! There will be 15 of us total....
Has anyone heard of Kountry Kitchen? My sister in law suggested it, and I can not find any information on it...my fear is it is Cracker Barrell Like....
Chicago Barbecue
We have tried ribs at a number of places over the years. I still love Twin Anchors! The best time to go is durring the week. Make sure you get the Zesty sauce.
Hecky's is "ok" not great.
Weber Grill serves competition style ribs which stick to the bone.
Fat Willy's has good ribs (but get it to go, the atmosphere stinks!)
Afternoon Tea?
We did a great Tea and Baby Shower at the Intercontinental Hotel (sp).
Not as "fashionable" as the Ritz, but the food was great and the cost was very reasonable.

Thanks. We did Le Titi de Paris and Shula's. And we all tend to go to the LEYE's all the time. So, something a bit more eclectic would be great- think MOTO (downtown). Yes, I know it is a tough one since the area is all chains.
