Ladies' Attire for Galatoire's

I plan on dining at Galatoire's (preferably downstairs) on a Saturday evening in October. My understanding is that men must wear jackets, which I love. What is the norm for women's attire...very dressy, business dress, etc.?

Thanks for the help.

Annapolis?

Congrats on your anniversary!

My husband and I were in Annapolis in April and really enjoyed Osteria 177 (Italian) on Maine Street and Lewnes (steakhouse) in Eastport.

Have a wonderful trip!

Annapolis suggestions please

What type of food are you looking for?

My husband and I were there two weeks ago and had lovely meals at both Lewnes, which is a steakhouse, and Osteria 177, which is Italian.

Lewnes (lewnessteakhouse.com) is in Eastport and Osteria 177 (www.osteria177.com) is right in town, on Main Street.

Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Romantic Restaurant Annapolis

My husband and I will be visiting Annapolis in April for our 3rd anniversary and need suggestions for a romantic dinner. Price is not a consideration, but my husband is a meat and potato type guy, so any type of cusine that's "exotic" (in his mind, at least) won't work. Thanks in advance.

Torn between too many choices

Just checked out Canteen on menupages and it looks good. Thanks!

Unfortunately, that's so true. Nopa looks great, as does Range - I think we'll go with one of those and Limon.

Anybody have suggestions for Sunday Brunch?

Thanks to all for great advice...especially avoiding a place we could go to in NY.

I was just looking at the menu there (for what seems like the 20th time!) and have to agree. I think that one's a definite. Thanks for your input!

Thanks so much for the advice. I'm going to try to get him to Slanted Door; the beef sounds like something he may entertain. I'll also look into Range, which was one I hadn't considered.

Torn between too many choices

My husband and I will be in the City for 5 nights in April. We already have reservations at Gary Danko (ate there last year and loved it) and A16. We're trying to line up reservations for the other nights and are torn between several choices:

Limon, Mamacita, Colibri or Maya?

Nopa, Zuni Cafe or Foreign Cinema?

We figured we'd leave one night free, to see what we stumble upon.

We're 36 and 42 and live in NYC. My husband is a very "meat and potato" eater; I'm more adventurous.

I've tried researching each of the restaurants, but have confused myself even more. We're not dead set on any of the above, so any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks!

nice cafe with wireless in Staten Island?

Try Coffee & Tea Market on Forest Ave (near Metropolitan Ave). I'm not sure if there's wireless internet, but it's a nice place to read and relax.
