Worcester for Lunch - must tries

If you are going for a nice sandwich try Big Joe's on Shrewsbury St. I recommend the #4- chicken cutlet, eggplant, mozzarella, roast red peppers, mayo on a nice italian roll

Dinner Friday Night in Worcester? [moved from Greater Boston board]

I'll give Baba the nod in creativity for sure, but Ive gotten sushi at Willy's 20+ times and had a great meal each and every time. Im not alone in thinking they are the best either. To each their own I guess

Willys has the best sushi you will find in Central MA bar none. Its always fresh and you get more for your money than other high end sushi places

Flats - new pizza in worcester?

I also am on the Flats bandwagon. As everyone else has described the crust is thin but crunchy and chewy. Also, the ingredients are TOP NOTCH. You can tell everything is fresh on the pie. This is def now one of the top 1 or 2 pizzas in Worcester.

Just one note--They are closed Monday's

Dinos had pretty damn good pizza too. One of the few Italian rest. I go to where there is almost always 1 person who comes in to get a take out pizza

Harvest Moon is nothing special. Just a hole in the wall place on gold star blvd. Pretty affordable and really good for Chinese takeout

New Job: Solid Lunch Spot Near Route 9 in Worcester

2 good sandwich spots Id try.

-Big Joe's on Shrewsbury St. One of best sandwich's in Worcester in my opinion. Try his special subs they are just about all awesome
-Napoli Deli is of of rt.9. At the lights take the road that goes by White City and a 1/2 mile or so down on the left is Napoli Deli. Good sandwiches and solid salad and Italian dish options

Nancy Chang in Worcester

Has anyone eaten here lately? Wow this place has really gone downhill if you ask me. There was a time when you knew what you were paying the extra money for when you got food from here, but it appears now that they are just coasting by on old reputation.

Many of our chicken and beef dishes were just coated with a thick, salty sauce that you could get at any take out place. They somehow managed to make the crab rangoons taste horrible too, which almost seems hard to mess up. I shouldve known something was up when I pulled up to a half empty parking lot on a Saturday night. Next time, I'll just stick with Harvest Moon!

Worcester MA Sunday Brunch

In Worcester area I think it's tough to beat the Beechwood's brunch. It can get pricey but great for special occasions. There are plenty of options ranging from breakfast favorites like Eggs Benedict, make your own Waffle Station and made to order Omelets to good lunch food like Prime Rib, Baked Ham, and a raw Salmon station.

Bad

Hopefully it was just an "off night" for the Red Lantern on Shrews St in Worcester. However, by the small crowd in on a Saturday Night at 7 Im not so sure. I knew were were in trouble when we walked in and there were 4 people sitting down at a table to eat, and another 4 at the bar. On a night when the temp outside was about 20 degrees, they didn't have their heat on. That caught my attention right away as the hostess had a vest and scarf on. After a short wait a waitress came to take our drink orders. After we put them in, it took 16 minutes for our 1st round of drinks to come. Keep in mind as I said there was only 8 other people in the restaurant. The waitress was pleasant and came over during that wait and said our drinks would be right out. After receiving our drinks we waited 5 minutes and nobody had come over yet to take our order. At that point we decided to leave and head down to Juniors to grab a pizza.....

Who delivers food to Worcester Polytech?

I guarentee Tortilla Sams does

Comfort food in/around Hudson, MA

Id also suggest O'Connors in West Boylston--Quality food at a reasonable price and they pretty much specialize in Meat and Potatooes

Sushi in Worcester Area

I got to try Yama Zakura for lunch a few weeks ago on a Friday. Overall, the sushi was very good. It was very fresh, and they have a nice selection of different kinds to choose from. The only thing I can say negatively about them was very slow service. I sat with an empty plate in front of me for about 7-8 minutes before the sushi chef asked me if I wanted my check. When I said Yes, it took another 5 minutes from him to come around the counter and ring me up. There was only one waitress working and she seemed overwhelmed. Im sure they have more servers at night and that might make thing moe efficient.

Best Burger in Worcester?

About a year ago one of my favorite's- Joe Joe's on Grafton Street shutdown, mostly due to horrible location I think. Im on a mission to find a good burger in Worcester. Any suggestions?
