A little french restaurant called C'est si Bon on the Olympic Penninsula outside of Port Angelas, WA. At the request of our B and B owner, the owner of the restaurant, Norbert, personally took care of my husband and I. He helped a couple of novices pair wine with our dinner thus sparking an interest in and affinity for wine. Oh, and the food was excellent, a meal that I haven't forgotten over the past seven years.
My current drink of choice:
Water! Water! Water!
I really wish I could:
Regularly go to the Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA. The selection, freshness and quality of the produce there is unbeatable.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Anything Italian is so easy!
My favorite comfort food:
I hate to say it, but I love Cheetos. If I were on an deserted island and could only have one luxury item it would be Cheetos. I also love tuna casserole, meat loaf and grandma's mac and cheese.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
In no particular order: Mi Ranchito, Lulu's Noodles, Thomas, Cascone's, Jefferson's
My most tattered cookbooks:
The Best from Helen Corbitt's Kitchens, The Joy of Cooking, The Eastland Family Cookbook (a book of family recipes), Where's Mom Now that I need Her (sometimes I still need to check on how to boil an egg)
