Need a casual fun place for birthday drinks/dinner
I'm looking for a place in San Franciso specifically but I'm open to Marin/Napa etc. for a small group about 10-20 people, originally I was thinking Mas Sake but my best friend is a picky brat and doesn't eat sushi so I need somewhere thats has something for everyone and where we can hang out and have drinks and appetizers and possibly sit down dinner.... suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

Need Recommendation for Japanese Restaurant in North Bay or SF
Anyone know about Sushi Mambo in Napa or Shiso in Sonoma? We frequent Go Fish and CC Blue so I wanted to try something else...

Hows the food? Whats it like inside? It looks like your typical lame sushi joint in a strip mall... Im looking for something *SPECIAL* for my anniversary with the most amazing boyfriend in the world...
Need Recommendation for Japanese Restaurant in North Bay or SF
Celebrating Anniversary.
Looking for:
Good sushi and fresh fish
Sexy, romantic atmosphere (low lighting, intimate, etc.)
In either Sonoma County, Napa County, Marin County or San Francisco

Help please ... lunch in Sonoma or Napa
If stopping in Napa then try the Cheese Merchant at the Oxbow Public Market. They also have Hog Island Oysters, Taylor's Refresher and a few other places to get a nice quick lunch. The Mac&Cheese at the Cheese Merchant is to die for!
If stopping in Sonoma try the Meritage or if you want to wait and stop in Kenwood then I highly recommend either Cafe Citti or Doce Lunas. Both are great little casual lunch spots with wonderful food.

Valentines Day Dinner? Somewhere between Santa Rosa and Sausalito?
My boyfriend eats anything and everything, but Im very picky. He loves red meat and I dont eat it at all. Im sure he would like a good steak, while I prefer pasta, seafood, chicken.... something along those lines. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Wineries or Olive Oil Tastings in Santa Barbara?
Absolutly!! Im a Concierge in Napa Valley so I will be happy to suggest whatever you might need!
Wineries or Olive Oil Tastings in Santa Barbara?
WOW! This is amazing! This reply is way more than I could have ever found just searching on the internet, thank you so much for the time you spent! I am so excited about all of these suggestions and I cant wait to try them!
Wineries or Olive Oil Tastings in Santa Barbara?
Any recommendations? My boyfriend and I will be there this weekend (visiting from Napa Valley) and we love UNIQUE tasting rooms.... I have read several previous threads but havent found many notes about anything unique. Most of them mention some nice wineries but none of them really say why.... any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
We are mostly red drinkers ;)
Stopping in San Luis Obisbo for Lunch- Need Suggestions
Thank you everyone for your wonderful suggestions! We are trying to pick between lunch at Novo or maybe Vinoteca Wine Bar is Paso Robles.... I will be sure to write a report when I get back!! Thanks again!

Stopping in San Luis Obisbo for Lunch- Need Suggestions
Need some suggestions for a lunch place on a Thursday afternoon... Not really into Asian or Mexican food... maybe somewhere with good seafood? Or Cali cuisine... Somewhere that also has good beer and maybe outdoor dining in a downtown area or near the college... Thank you so much!!
Downtown Disneyland Dining
My boyfriend and I are celebrating my birthday and our 6 year anniversary in Santa Barbara for two nights and then heading down to Anaheim for a concert at the House of Blues on Saturday night.
My boyfriend eats pretty much anything but I dont eat any red meat. We both really LOVE seafood and try to eat as healthy as possible.
When we go out to eat we like to order several diffrerent things on the menu and share everything because neither of us are huge eaters and we dont like being super full.
How is Catal? We thought about going to Napa Rose but we are from Napa Valley so I would prefer something a little different.
All suggestions are highly appreciated!
Santa Barbara suggestions (I am picky)
My boyfriend and I are celebrating my birthday and our 6 year anniversary in Santa Barbara in a few weeks and I would like some suggestions on where to dine. We will be there for two nights but we havent decided exactly where yet.

When we go out to eat we like to order several diffrerent things on the menu and share everything because neither of us are huge eaters and we dont like being super full.
We would like maybe one nice dinner and one more casual dinner (maybe somewhere with live music or an upbeat atmosphere) and then a couple small casual lunch places where we can grab a quick bite.
All suggestions are highly appreciated!
Anyone been to Vivere in Santa Rosa?
I just found this place on Open Table and I cant find much as far as reviews. Anyone been there yet and care to share an experience? Im considering it for Valentines Day. Thanks
Rec's for Napa/Sonoma Winery Visits ?
Definitly get a reservation at Pride Mountain and try to get on their 10am tour (they have tastings all day but this is the only time the offer a tour). From there I highly recommend Terra Valentine, Robert Keenan and Spring Mtn.
In Sonoma County I recommend J Vineyards (get in the bubble room).
Best in napa? (other than TFL)
Cook in St. Helena is very good. Its a small(I mean VERY small), local favorite on Main Street, so you definitly want to get reservations (especially for a party of 6) because this place is always packed. I found this review in the SF Cronicle that might be helpful (pictures too):

Dito on this post, if you are looking for good steak then I highly recommend Press in St. Helena.
And if you like tasting menus then I also recommend Ad Hoc. Im a pretty picky eater (no red meat) so I dont usually like prix fix menus, but Ad Hoc is outstanding and when I ate there, they were very accomodating.
My last suggestion is Martini House in St. Helena, Im pretty sure it was mentioned previously but not elaborated on too much. The setting is very cozy and romantic (great for these chilly winter nights) and the food is very inventive. I think you will love it!
Anyone been to the Unnamed Cafe at Rosso & Bianco Winery in Geyserville?
Im really curious because I am going there to taste for the first time on Friday with a "wine friend" and I thought we might stop there for a bite rather than driving back to Healdsburg or Santa Rosa. I really like classic Italian so I figured this would be something I'd like.
For some reason every time I pull up the menu on my computer it opens and then closes itself before I can look at it. Help?

You definitly want to book ahead no matter what time of year it is in Napa valley
Sparkling Wine Day in Wine Country
I second the suggestion to visit J Vineyards. You will definitly enjoy the Bubble Room. Also try visiting Frank Family for a complimentary tasting of 3 sparkling wines.
