Harrisburg Chowhound shoutout!
I need to put that on my list to try. For a pretty good Indian BYOB in that same area, you should try Masala Bistro. We've always enjoyed their weekend lunch buffet.

Traveling to Pittsburgh soon
Would be interested in a nice steakhouse one night and an elegant place another.
Any suggestions?
Mofongo in San Diego
The plantain mofongo is great if correctly prepared and eaten hot!
Staying at Lancaster Arts Hotel on V Day
We ended up going to Mazzi and the food was excellent.

Philly question---Union Trust or Butcher and Singer
We've been there twice already--looking to go to someplace new.
Philly question---Union Trust or Butcher and Singer
Am trying to decide between the two for a September dinner.
Bethlehem Restaurant Recommendations
I'm going to Bethlehem with some friends for my birthday in March.
Any restaurant recommendations?
Thanks!

Any nearby restaurant recommendations?
Last time we were in Lancaster, there seemed to be dearth of decent restaurants. Maybe we just didn't have the inside scoop.
Atlantic City--Borgata area
Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in this area?
We are going to Atlantic City on November 3.
Thanks.

Anything good in Harrisburg
Bayou is a parking nightmare, as is Blue. I would keep those two things in mind when making my choice also.
Fells Point and vicinity
Ate at a Greek tapas bar called Mezze this weekend--just excellent! I highly recommend it.
(Even though this is an old thread, perhaps someone will do a search on Fell's Point.)
My Philadelphia Restaurant Trip
My husband and I both went to Barclay Prime early on and the service was so slow we left after appetizers and drinks. The next day, which was a Saturday, we received a call from a Starr representative who asked us why we left and if we would consider coming back on the house. We did and everything was excellent; it was a very gracious gesture.
An interesting ritual is the "choosing of the knives" lol.... we found that to be a bit different.
Brasserie Perrier has excellent food. We visited for lunch and were not disappointed. I also think that window view at LaCroix for a spring breakfast would be just lovely. We had the opportunity to dine there this winter and intend to return during nicer weather.
Visiting Bethlehem
on Friday, March 21---can someone please recommend a nice restaurant for me and my husband?
Thanks!
worst tasting candy ever!!!!!
I remember sen sens--almost tasted like cologne to me...
Camp Hill, PA
Confit French Bistro on Market Street in Camp Hill is worth a visit. The food is excellent.
Anything good in Harrisburg
Simoson's is now closed, as is James on Market, which has been taken over by Confit French Bistro. The food is wonderful and it's definitely worth a visit.
Harrisburg area hoagies - where's a good roll besides Jackson House
Sorrentos on Derry is pretty darn good!
Harrisburg Chowhound shoutout!
Sammy's across from the Capitol is a byob with good food.
I also recommend Sasha's Hideaway in Linglestown--off the beaten path.
Firehouse has good food too--and is worth a trip downtown.
I wish someone in this area would open a Greek restaurant.
Harrisburg Recommendation
Sammys--a small, byob across from the Capitol, has great food. If you like lamb, there is usually a fantastic lamb dish on the specials menu.
