Can one find lobster rolls in Vermont?

I had a good lobster roll last weekend at the new restaurant Bevo in Colchester. The lobster was dressed in butter instead of mayo (I'm not a huge mayo fan so traditional lobster rolls are not my favorite), so it's not typical. It's served on a toasted bun and topped with melted leeks...I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Need advice about tipping beyond the simple 20% of whatever the bill is....

I never tip less than $5, even if if the bill is $10 and I'm in and out in 15 minutes; tipping any less just doesn't feel right.

I think your $9 tip was thoughtful and appropriate for the length of time you were there. The sad thing is that many people would have left just the $2.

Vermont Restaurant Week

I have reservations at Hen of the Wood for the 14th, and am still deciding on my second choice; I'm having a hard time justifying more than 2 dinners out in one week. I just love their food and $35 for 3 courses is just too good of a deal to pass up! I'm really intrigued by Michael's On the Hill's all-ramp menu, but I'm not sure if I want to make the trek from Burlington to Waterbury/Stowe twice in one week.

I would also like to know where others are going! Can't wait.

Vegetarian recommendations?

I'm traveling to NYC next month with my vegetarian husband and carnivorous brother. Any ideas for vegetarian restaurants a meat eater would also enjoy, or non-vegetarian restaurants with a good varitey of vegetarian selections? I'm looking for lunch and dinner options, both casual and a bit upscale. We are staying in Times Square, but are willing to venture anywhere in the city for good food. Thanks!
