Info on new restaurant in Snooky's/Elementi location in park slope?
I heard from a regular at another 7th avenue bar that this new place will be a bar. About freakin' time!
Looking for somplace to eat - new to Boston
Hello all,
I'm satying in Boston tonight for the first time, and I'm looking for advice on where to eat. Cuisine isn't as important as location. I'm staying near Fenway at the Hotel Buckminster.
I'd love to hear recommendations that are no more than a couple of miles away. Comfort food / burgers are always a hit, and casual and comfortable are more important than trendy.
Thanks!
Has anyone been to Apotheke in Chinatown?
At $18 a cocktail, you'd better appreciate a well crafted cocktail, and the stuck-up NYC trendy bar scene. If that's your interest, this is the place for you.
Pepolino - quick review
Not to deter people, I want to make a point that the prices are not exorbitant. Most of the entrees are $18-23. Considering that this is a top notch restaurant in NYC, I would argue their prices are a bargain. Most restaurants with their reputation regularly charge $35-40 a plate. Their wine list is reasonable as well, and they don't mark up the prices as much as most places.
I do love this restaurant. I've been about a dozen times and have always had an excellent experience.
First Time to DC
Hi all,
I'm travelling to DC for the first time this weekend and was wondering if people had suggestions for good restaurants in a moderate price range. All cuisines welcome.
Thanks!
72 hours in NYC. What (cheapeats) NOT to miss?
Eisenberg's is a lunch counter on 5th Ave and 22nd Street. It's no frills, but they have arguably the best corned beef sandwich in the city. Cheap, too.
For something a little different and a little more upscale, Sala is right around the corner from there. Great tapas.
Lunch in the Financial District
I've been working in the Financial District for 7 years, and I have to say I am ambivalent about every restaurant down here. Been there, done that. Does anyone have any suggestions for places downtown that are either new or out-of-the-way that I may not have heard of?
Thanks!
