For my money, the best dimsum in town is at chinatown brasserie, [corner of great jones street and lafayette]. great dips with each one, and combinations that you do not find anywhere else. You order off the menu.

ate at maoz in barcelona. was not impressed. the union square area has the fabulous rainbow falafel, a much tastier option.

Ferran Adrias brother ,Albert Adria is the chocolatier who owns Cacao Sampaka. The place does not claim to make spanish chocolate, but completely reimagines chocolate.
That said he makes a pretty good traditional spanish thick drinking chocolate.
