Thanksgiving Night in NYC
My family and I will be in NYC for Thanksgiving.
We are Europeon and do not need an actual Thanksgiving meal-although we are not against it either. We are looking for a place to eat dinner that is not super expensive, but that will have good food and fine for kids.
It doesn't have to be a traditional meal with turkey, it can be anything. We are open to Brooklyn or Manhattan anywhere in those areas.
Good Burger by the DC Zoo
Where could I find an amazing hamburger near DuPont Circle??
cooking classes in Baltimore
I am looking to take a gourmet cooking class in the Baltimore area. Any ideas?

Bobby Flay style Shrimp "throwdown"...need ideas
those ingredients sound awesome! I'm already thinking of some good ideas, but I'm wondering what actual recipes to use...it doesn't have to be in the style of Bobby Flay...the contest is just gonna be formatted after his "throwdown" show....

Another place like Artisinal?
I'm looking for a place that is like Artisinal in the sense that they have a fabulous cheese selection. Doesn't matter where in the city. Any suggestions?
Lunch around the Union Square area
I'm looking for a place to take a foodie client from out of town to lunch. We have a meeting a little south of Union Square and I'm looking for somewhere in that general area-price and ethnicity are not really a concern....just something unpretentious.
Dinner with a baby
I've taken my 2 year old to both Balthazar and Artisanal since she was little and both have been fine. In both places you leave your stroller at the door and you can just carry the car seat over to the table. We also have taken her to Jojo, Otto, Momofuku Ssam Bar and Nobu-all have been totally kid friendly and fine....we go to dinner at 5:30 so that also helps b/c by the time we're finished with dinner the restaurant is just starting to get crowded.
Dinner tonight...craving pasta or gourmet pizza
I'd say I'd like to keep it under $25 for an entree....atmosphere? leaning towards trendy but on the casual side-the only place that is already off my list is OTTO only b/c I"ve gone there a bunch

Hill Country, Co., Negril Village....? Most fun for kids (and tasty for parent)
I'm going to be in new york with my preschooler. My husband has a business dinner and we're going to be on our own for dinner....that being said...I'm looking for a place that I won't stick out like a sore thumb-dining solo with a child....those above mentioned are my options as of now....def looking on the casual side...doesn't really matter where in Manhattan but we are staying in midtown west-maybe there are options closer to home-if not...any option is appreciated.
Appetizer with "Wow Factor" to bring to a Friend's House
Okay so I just talked to the host and they are planning on doing grilled chicken and grilled shrimp as their main. They live about 30 minutes from me and I need an app that is going to be ready when we get there-no oven, etc. I'm thinking about doing the salami crips or perhaps the mini potatoes with sour cream...?
where to find milk curds?
i'm in maryland....not exactly a mecca for gourmet foods. i'll check those websites! thanks!
