Late night places to study in Santa Monica, SFV, or Los Feliz/Silverlake area?
Preferably with comfy couches, well-lit (see opposite of lighting in Bourgious Pig), not too trendy or crowded ( see opposite of places like Literati Cafe),and good stuff to nosh on.
I know I sound picky but I get easily distracted! Too many people act as eye candy and my artistic side wants to write little poems about them while my I-need-to-graduate-college side says I need to focus on Chem.
thanks for your help!
Follow Your Heart BYOB discovery
My family lives right by Follow Your Heart and I always go there. You can bring wine? Excellent! You friday night pizza feast sounds like an amazing idea!
French coffee and pastries?
I was in Seattle in December and they have the best french pastry places there. I miss waking up and having a delish pastry and perfectly pulled espresso drink.
Does anyone know of some great coffee and pastry places?
Any place in Los Angeles! As long as it's yummy.
Woodland Hills & Vicinity Eats
For cheap eats--My boyfriend swears by Dan's Super Subs on Ventura. He likes the capicola sandwhiches.
I'm a vegan so I like Follow Your Heart, Chipotle vegan burritos, and Vegetable Delight in Granada Hills.
I can't find any good thai food places though. :(
Vegetarian Tasting Menu..someplace nice?
Hatfields on Beverly has a veg. tasting menu. It's not on the menu but they CAN accomadate. I am vegan and although they could not do a tasting menu for me they made me the best vegan dish I have ever had--and it was a totally spontaneous creation!
yum.
Elf Cafe in Echo Park - So Tiny and Cute!
I ate there a couple weeks back. It was tiny ( don't go with a lot of people. Someone showed up with a group of 7). Me and my friend had to wait forever and sit at the bar. It was a fun experience and the staff was great ( plus you can bring your own wine for a small corkage fee) BUT the food is mediocre at best. It was like something I can make in my own kitchen.
However, it was fresh and healthy and a pretty cute place!
