ISO Columbus restaurants where I can bring my own wine

Hi. I recently moved here to Columbus (Westerville, to be exactly) from LA. I am compiling a ist of restaurants where I can bring my own bottle of wine. Do they exist?

Thanks in advance for your help!

ISO Columbus restaurants where you can bring your own wine?

Hi. I've recently moved to Columbus (Westerville, to be exact) from LA. I'm trying to compile a list of restaurants around here where I can bring my own bottle of wine. Do they exist?

I second Jim's. It's actually on FALLBROOK Ave and not on Platt.

Wow, Starliner Diner will definitely be on my must-go-to list for this visit! I visited their website, and it looks really different and interesting! Thanks!!!

Southern Californian Visiting Columbus, Ohio

Hi! We are staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown. However, we wouldn't mind driving anywhere for food.

Thanks for this suggestion, and please keep it coming!

Southern Californian Visiting Columbus, Ohio

In terms of cuisine, something that we don't get much here in LA. That is, I would prefer the places to NOT be mexican, chinese, vietnamese.... I guess German food will be a good start for me.

As for the recommendations you have provided, I have already put them down on my list. If I don't get to try them out on this trip, I will eventually try them out some other time since I am planning on moving there in less than a year.

Thanks. And if you think of other places to add, please keep on adding! :-)

Best Scone in Pasadena Area??

I recently went to the Scarlet Tea Room, and I was pleasantly surprised with their scones!

An alternative to Bistro K?

Firefly IS spectaculary ordinary on ANY day! Bistro de la Gare is not so bad--the last time I went there, the service was very attentive, and the food was great (it was too early in the evening, so we were the only ones there) though foodwise, it is nowhere near Bistro K.

Saigon Sandwiches? Canoga Park (Photos)

I love their sandwiches. I always have them for lunch every Saturdays.

This and That Here and There Cafe-Pasadena

Their breakfasts are served the whole day (which I love since sometimes I crave breakfast food for lunch), and they now serve burgers as well. I personally like the new set up. You should try it one of these days, and let us know what you think!

This and That Here and There Cafe-Pasadena

The place used to be called The Highland Cafe which had asian owners.... I think it changed ownership about a year ago.

What are the must try places in Dallas for people visiting Texas for the first time?

Thank you for all your input everyone. We will try to visit some of these places. One thing I know for sure--I will never come back home to LA hungry!

Thanks again.

A&W Seafood

The one on Reseda and Prairie is Northridge, and Granada Hills is the one on Balboa and San Fernando.

A&W Seafood

To me, there seems to be no difference in terms of the taste of their food. However, the one in Northridge serves dim sum while the one in Granada Hills does not.

What are the must try places in Dallas for people visiting Texas for the first time?

Any type of food. As to the area, I would say more on the Northern part of Dallas.

My family and I will be visiting Dallas, Texas for the first time next week. Would appreciate all your suggestions for restaurants that we have to try. Things we need to consider are: we will be with 3 children ages 6 - 12 years old, and we would prefer the really, really good hole-in-the-wall joints.

Thanks in advance!

Quiet Sunday Lunch/Brunch Spot Between Woodland Hills and Oxnard

Hi nancyc4fun! We had lunch at the restaurant in the Herzog Wine Cellar and Oxnard yesterday, and it was a pleasant experience. I had the wine tasting lunch. I enjoyed the food, although I didn't enjoy the wine too much. However, for $40 for 3 courses per person, I really could not complain. The ambiance was quite nice as well. Although the service was not exceptional, I would say it was not bad. I will definitely be returning! Thanks again for your suggestion!

I've been driving by this place everyday and have always wanted to try it. Does anyone have any thoughts about this place? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Great Cupcakes in Reseda...?

I know this is not the area you specifically asked for, but if Canoga Park is accessible to you, Plusko's on Sherman Way has the best cakes (at least in my humble opinion).
