Thanks again folks, I didn't make it to Philadelphia last autumn (Fall) but will be in town in May. Looks like the recommendations are consistent in both my threads! |

Wow thanks, can't remember that one....I've obviously been away from this board too long! |

We'll be in town for a short vacation in May. We'd appreciate recommendations for good places to drink coffee. Centrally located unless you can conince us to use valuable time seeking out an exceptional place. We generally prefer small independent places (no Starbucks)! |
We'll be based on Race Street and probably spend most of our four days fairly centrally based in the city! ----- |

Visiting Philadelphia, looking for recommendations for places to drink good coffee in the city? Cheers! |

Alternatives to Starbucks - good places to drink coffee in and around central London? I'm looking for recommendations for places to drink good coffee in and around central London. The location and distance is of no consequence, what matters is that i find a number of places that serve good coffee and take their coffee brewing seriously. |

I'm having a 3 week vacation in Florida in September. I understand that tipping is a bigger issue in the US than here in the UK. Any advice on what is an acceptable percentage for a tip in a restaurant (for good, very good and exceptioanl service)? |

Fort Lauderdale early dinner recommendations? I'll be in Fort Lauderdale for one day in September to attend a show. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant serving early dinners that would suit a vegetarian (my wife) and someone who enjoys any type of food? |

Looking for recommendations for lunch in the South Kensington/Kensington High Street or anywhere close to the Royal Albert Hall? |

Try Horizons! |
I've only been to Horizons on one occasion, a Tuesday evening and had to make a reservation. |
The best meal I've had in 12 visits to the USA was in Horizons last year. |
Tavern On Jane. |
If I remember correctly it was you (saturninus) that recommended Horizons to me in early 2007. |
