i'm a old fashion type of girl. i like my heinz ketchup.

my dad is not Hawaiian but he loves spam. it reminds him of his childhood and hanging out with his friends in Vietnam.

I'm not a huge fan of the way alcohol tastes either. i would probably consider myself as a emotional drinker. when i'm depressed, i want something to drink. i know, it's bad. anyway, my drink of choice is usually some type of wine or hard liquor. i'm not a huge fan of beer. i just want something that i'll feel the effects and won't have to drink a lot.

i like my salad first and then my main course.

has anyone tried the new strawberry frosted shredded wheat? it looked good on the commercial...wondering if i should buy a box.

do you have onions or bell peppers? my mom makes a dish where she combines ground pork, rice, and seasoning. then she stuffs it inside the onion or bell pepper. just pop it in the oven until meat is cooked. it's good for those really cold nights.

for me, it would have to be making a cake from scratch. something always goes wrong. either i add too much of something,forget an important ingredient, etc. it's very frustrating. then i'm left with a bunch of dirty bowls.

i love adding ingredients to my noodles. i usually buy the Japanese brand. i forget the name, but it's in the bright green and white package. it's very similar to roman. this may be odd but i love scrambling an egg and making it into a egg flour noodle soup.

i love cajun seasoning. i even put it on my eggs.

just wondering....do you sprinkle splenda over your salad?

awhile back i was watching some reality show and the person would put splenda on everything. she even sprinkled it over her salad. i thought it was interesting.

i could never eat cat, dog, horse, rabbit, etc. to me, these animals are pets not food.

i like the food network...i enjoy watching iron chef, alton's scientific approach to food, and bobby's throwdown. occassionally, i'll watch sarah lee semi-home cooking...it's not the best but i enjoy learning little tricks. probably my two least favorite shows is rachel ray and emeril. just grew tired of them.

Wow...those donuts look pretty good. I tried to make yeast donuts awhile back and it was a complete failure.

the past couple times that i have gone to the fair and bought corn there has been mayo out among the toppings. personally, corn and mayo should not go together. plus, i wonder if the employees change the mayo throughout the day. it's just sitting out in the heat. doesn't it go bad? i can't image that's good.

i'm a yeast donut fan. although, sometimes i order the white frosting cake donut with sprinkles.

i used to carry a packet of mustard in my purse. not because i really like mustard and wanted to put it on everything i eat. but, there was a cute doxie on it. i love doxie's. it turned brown and i threw it away.

recently, i made a red velvet cake.I wanted to try something new. i was disappointed. sorry, can't think of any restaurants that has red velvet cake or cupcakes on their menu.

i'm thinking that i definitely don't want to read "The Jungle".

good question. i'm not sure. as for the Phoenix, i know they they dip the cookie into white chocolate themselves. but, i highly doubt that they make their own fortune cookies. it's probably mass produced. what bothers me is the fortune itself. it's always cheesy.

the line actually moves pretty fast. the main problem is finding a table to eat.

Just wondering if anyone knows any good hot dog places. I've been to Pink's a couple of times and they make great hot dogs. Can you think of any more?

I would recommend trying P.F. Changs. Their food is great. Can't remember if they have a wrapper around the fortune cookie though. My family also likes The Phoenix (it's in Downtown La Verne, CA) they have the best fortune cookies. They dip half of the cookie in white chocolate and then wrap it up in colored foiled. Their food is pretty good as well. Plus, it's not as hard on your wallet. With that said, it's not quite up to P.F. Changs standards. But, if your in the neighborhood it's a good stop.

make sure you make reservations early. every time my family has tried to eat there the wait was 3 hours or more. to say the least, we decided to eat some place else.
