Where to take out of town parents?

My parents are coming for a visit this summer and I'm in search of a restaurant to take them to on a Saturday night. Looking for a fun atmosphere with entrees around $25-30 while staying away from Italian (been there, done that) and sushi (not an adventurous group). Location doesn't matter. Thanks!

Any recommendations for York @ 63rd area?

Matsu for sushi on 70th between York and 1st. Excellent quality and not too pricey.

Mexican in the village/SoHo

I'm looking for a Mexican restaurant in the village or SoHo for a date on Friday night. Cost isn't a big issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Little Italy. Best of the tourist traps?

Da Nico is great. If the weather permits, I would strongly suggest sitting outside in the garden area.

Bubba Gump Shrimp / Serendipity worth the stop?

Bubba Gump is a fun restaurant for tourists and is located in Times Square, which is convenient for most visitors. The food is good, but go for the experience, not top-tier seafood.

As for Serendipity, it depends on what the wait time is. If you're coming during the week you shouldn't have a problem getting in and it will be worth it. If you're here on a weekend, however, I could think of a lot of other things I would rather do in NYC than wait in a 2 hr line for Serendipity.

Affordable Italian restaurants in e 80s?

Tony's Di Napoli on 83rd/2nd is a family style Italian restaurant. I've been with just one other person and shared an appetizer and entree, and have also been with a big group where we ordered 3-4 entrees and all shared. It's always great!

Early dinner in the theatre district (around west 45th st.)

44 Southwest is a great Italian place on 44th/9th. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is nice for a small group. I especially recommend the eggplant rollatini appetizer.

Atlantic Grill

Have reservations at Atlantic Grill tonight and was wondering if anyone had eaten from their restaurant week menu...any suggestions? Or should we order from the regular menu?
