New places in White Plains

Pork sliders are yummy, Potatos Bravas, Gambas Piri Piri, Bistoque..... I can go on and on about what to get, Some reviews above state Peniche is expensive, We get a bunch of different plates (Like 6-8 depending on hubby :) ) and leave full and pay the same if not less then going to normal serving restaurant.

New places in White Plains

I would not call BLT or 42 "Fun". I guess if your looking for a newer place Peniche fits the bill your looking for. Melting pot is.... Well do yourself a favor and stay away.

Best Restaurants in Saratoga Springs

Went to Hatties last summer for the fried chicken and thought it was great! i need to make another trip for sure!!!!

Fried Chicken in Westchester?

+1 For The Bayou, there fried chicken is amazing, Comes with slaw and slab of cornbread as well.

Via Quadronna in White Plains

Agreed, Its overpriced and not worth it, My BF and I went, He had the carpaccio for an app ( which was good) and Some Gnocchi and shrimp pasta dish (in a bland broth with lots of black pepper and no taste), I had grilled calamari ( which was served over julienned veggies, nice and boring) and Buccatini Amatriciana. (which was good). So 2 apps and 2 pasta dishes( which were very small) with a bottle of Wine($35) cost us $145 not including tip. With that said we both strongly felt it was not worth the price for what we got, One of the strong positives was the outdoor seating, it was nice finishing off the bottle of wine at dusk. Thumbs down to VIA q

Tragic frozen burgers at Lazy Boy Saloon (White Plains)

I'm sure they don't get a lot of takers for a buffalo burger, hence why it was frozen,
Lazy Boy is one of if not THE BEST bar/pub style restaurants in Down town WP. The wings, French onion soup, burgers and beer selection (draft and bottle) will keep me returning

Bella Vita, La Villeta or La Campagna (Mohegan Lake/Shrub Oak NY)

So I have never been to any of these and we are planning a family dinner. We want to try something new. Out of these 3 Italian restaurants In the Mohegan Lake/Shrub Oak area . Which has the best food? There are 6 of us and one toddler.
Any opinions are appreciated!!!!!

Best Bakeries

In the BX: Artuso's in Little Italy, or Zepperi and Sons in the Pelham Bay Section. both Old school Italian bakeries.
In Rockland . The Rockland bakery, Its a must to visit at least once. You can pick your bread right off the belt from the ovens !!

Seasons in White Plains?

Their spicy Tuna rolls are weird . They have these Fibers in them. I guess they use a bad grade of tuna for them.

Good Hot Buffalo Wings in Westchester or Putnam?

Best wings= Lazy Boy Saloon on Mamaroneck ave in WP. They are always on point. They also have close to 500 varieties of beer to choose from!

Visiting Boston

Hey People...
Some friends and I will be visiting your city in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in the downtown area. I guess we would be looking for Bar/Pub style food. Or something with some American fare as long as its a fun place. I cant do anything to ethnic because my friends are picky. Thanks in advance

Italian takeout in lower Westchester

In Mahopac on RT 6 There is Arturo`s Trattoria. The portions were huge without compromising the taste. Been there 3 times and My family or I have not one bad thing to say, The inside is like a log cabin and is very cozy, It is like a good old fashioned Bronx Italian restaurant. Not like some of the other places up here that serve spaghetti and ketchup. There address is 878 Route 6 Mahopac. Its about 40 mins from WP and 12-15 mins from the JV Mall in Yorktown.
