Loteria Studio City

Anyone know when it is supposed to open? I heard November but the space still looks pretty empty. They're opening in the shopping center at Laurel and Ventura, next to Daily Grill.

Are There ANY Good Italian Delis in the Valley?!

Thanks all. Any ideas for Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Noho?

Are There ANY Good Italian Delis in the Valley?!

I moved to Studio City after living in Connecticut and New York for a while, and while LA definitely has the upper hand in many types of food, there is one thing I am consistently looking for - a good Italian deli. We used to have several in my hometown, and I am yet to find anywhere that is half way decent.

Bay Cities in Santa Monica is the closest I can think of, and its a complete madhouse. Are there any places in Studio City or even the Valley? Meatball or chicken parm subs, cold cuts, etc. Anywhere with quality sandwiches? I would go there every day for lunch...

Please help!

Help Me With My "Restaurant List"

Hi everyone. I'm making a list of restaurants that I've either tried and enjoy, or need to get to in the near future. Can be casual or upscale, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Location isn't too specific, mainly the West Side but I have a few Valley and Downtown spots as well. I'm not including the touristy places like Nobu, I've been. I realize these are pretty open ended parameters but that's the point! There are so many options in LA and this list helps keep track of them all. Here is what I have so far, I know there are probably lots of omissions. I moved here not that long ago so go easy on me! I welcome any and all suggestions of essential restaurants from the knowledgeable people here.

Studio City - Takeout. Anything?

Just moved to Studio City and I'm getting frustrated with the lack of lunch and dinner takeout in the area. Its either sushi, too fancy or just not good. Can anyone help me find some easy, relatively healthy takeout options? I do like Artisan Cheese Gallery and Aroma, thats about it so far.

Lunch in Santa Monica

Gonna be at the 3rd St Prom today, any reccomendations for cheap lunch places? Thanks.

Best Chicken Parmasean?

Maria's in Studio City has been the only place really worthwhile.

Best Chicken Parmasean?

This is my favorite food and I am yet to find a place that makes it as good as anywhere in NYC. I live in the Valley but work in Century City, any reccomendations would be appreciated.

Century City

Hey everyone,

I just started a new job at Santa Monica Blvd & Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Any dinner reccomendations in this area would be appreciated.

Dinner Recommendations in the Valley

Awesome, thanks so much.

Dinner Recommendations in the Valley

I just started school in Northridge, and am looking for some inexpensive dinner options in or around that area. Northridge, Encino, Granada Hills, Chatsworth, etc. Thanks in advance.

Lunch in Valley Village

I have been to Carnival once before, great find.

Lunch in Valley Village

Going to be in Valley Village/Studio City this afternoon before heading over to Century City for work. Im looking for a good lunch place, not too expensive. I'll try anything, considering going to Iroha (one of my favorites) for sushi, or a burger place.

Any reccomendations for lunch in this area would be appreciated.
