How to harvest parsley
Can someone please tell me how to harvest parsley correctly? Do I cut it at the base like chives, or just snip off the leaves? Should I expect the plant to last throughout the summer or do I need to reseed like cilantro?
Thanks for your help!
can anyone identify these?

Pots and Pans - Which brand to buy?
Hi Steady Habits,
Welcome to Chowhound! I think the Multiclad only offers a 1.5qt saucepan, not a 1qt saucepan. I have the 1.5qt and I like the shape...it's has a nice wide bottom and will be perfect for the tasks you described. I've used All-Clad before and I prefer the handle of Multiclad...it's fairly flat and smooth when compared to the V-groove of All-Clad's handle. I also think the weight is pretty comparable to All-Clad. All in all, it's a great pan. And it's available for $19.99 on Amazon so it's a great deal compared to other options. Hope this helps!

Pots and Pans - Which brand to buy?
I have many pieces from the Cuisinart Multiclad line and absolutely vouch for them. If used properly, food doesn't really stick to them and they clean up very easily. Definitely worth taking a look at!
Paella Burner and Stand
Iceman, forgive my ignorance but where do you place the burner if it doesn't have a stand? Do you use it strictly outdoors since it requires propane gas?
I will be in Sevilla next month. Would it be cheaper to purchase a paellero in Spain than here?
Paella Burner and Stand
Hi everyone. I love making paella but I find that some pans are too big for my stove. I've been looking at purchasing a portable paella stand like the one found here. http://www.tienda.com/paella/products/pb-06b.html Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they stable and durable? Can I use them for anything else? Thanks for your help!
Dishwasher Lasagna
I just read the oddest recipe for a lasagna that you supposedly make in the dishwasher. (That's right, the dishwasher.) Has anyone heard of anything like this? Better yet, has anyone actually made lasagna in his/her dishwasher?

Bomba Rice in Manhattan
Hello. I am visiting Manhattan this weekend and am looking for a store closeby that carries Spanish ingredients. Specifically, I am looking for bomba or calasparra rice. I am staying close to Times Square, but can travel or walk around Manhattan. Thanks for any suggestions.
Ask Aida--Why so quiet?
I've watched it 1 1/2 times and didn't care for it at all. She made a pie last week and both the crust and finished product looked sloppy and amateurish. For the Q&A section, I thought her answers were too general and not helpful. Overall, I was very disappointed in the show and will probably not watch again.
Freezer Bowl for Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
Williams-Sonoma is selling the ice cream maker PLUS an extra freezer bowl for $59.95. Not too bad a deal.
Miso paste
Hi all. I was wondering how long miso paste will last in the fridge before it spoils. Thanks for your help!
Repair ofJ A Henckels Pro-S Handle?
Don't try to fix it yourself. You can just send it back to Henckels for a free replacement. The handle came off my Pro S paring knife last year -- I sent it to them along with a note and received a brand new replacement in about 3 weeks.
Le Creuset Stainless Steel Knob
Hi, anyone know how I can get a hold of a couple of the stainless steel knobs for my Le Creuset pieces? I wrote to LC's customer service, and the rep said I had to buy it from an authorized dealer. Anyone have luck finding these knobs? TIA!
Buying a new set of cookware... what are your favs?
I personally really like the Cuisinart Multiclad line. The price for a 12 piece set ranges from $199 to $299 on Amazon. (You can frequently find the lower price on weekends.) The cookware is well-constructed, cooks wonderfully and cleans up easily. I haven't had any problems with food sticking on it, as long as I pre-heat the pan properly. I also own a set on non-stick cookware which I don't use as often. They are Anolon Titanium and perform extremely well. I went with sets in both cases because I found them for excellent prices. If you don't need all the sizes, I'd suggest picking up individual pieces as necessary.
Iron Chef (flay vs. Rathburns) with.....
I LOVED the dishes the Rathbuns used on this episode. Their presentations were amazing. Does anyone know the brand of the dinnerware?
Wood Framed "Strainer" - what's it called!
Has anyone had any luck finding a reasonably price tamis online?
Chefmate dutch oven toxic?

Looking for cookware stand to display Le Creuset pots
Hello everyone. I have been searching for a way to display my Le Creuset pots. I saw the Enclume 6-tier steel stand at Williams-Sonoma, but it is quite pricey. Does anyone have any other suggestions on where I might be able to find a similar item? I like the idea of stacking the pots vertically, rather than horizontally.
Here is a link to the stand referenced above:

Cuisinart Multiclad - does it exist?
I can vouch for the performance of the Multiclad line. I bought my 12 piece set several months ago for about $200 and added a few additional pieces. Food cooks evenly and the pans are easy to clean. Very highly recommended. Keep an eye on Amazon...I've seen the prices there drop lower than $190 for the 12-piece set.
How many things can go in an oven?
Hi everyone. I'm sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but I don't want to wait until Thanksgiving to find out. If I have two different dishes (cornish hen and lasagna) which both need to be baked at the same temperature, can I stick them in the oven at the same time? Would this affect the cooking time or flavor? Thanks for your help!
Need recipe for pickled tomatoes
Hi everyone. I just finished picking my tomatoes for the season. I have a large amount of green cherry tomatoes left and would prefer not to waste them. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do with them? I'd like to try my hand at pickling them, but I have not been able to find a good recipe. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!
BED,BATH, & BEYOND
Mojoeater...how do you get them to ship the item for free? I went to 2 stores and while both places were happy to apply the 20% discount, they both also said that I had to pay for shipping myself.
PHO#1 North Woburn
Perfect! I'm in the Rochester Airport right now waiting for my flight to Boston. I'd love to check this place out over the weekend...can someone provide the address and/or phone number? Is it close to a T stop? Thanks!
Sushi Zo Patrons!
Too keep for my records. When I got the bill I was shown the list that Keizo-san jots down, but the restaurant keeps that copy for itself.
Sushi Zo Patrons!
I definitely wasn't insinuating that the charges weren't fair or accurate. I'm just asking because if I ever entertain a business client there, I would need an itemize receipt to get reimbursed.
Sushi Zo Patrons!
DH and I went to Sushi Zo last week and had a phenomenal experience. Every piece of fish was simply divine. However, I have a quick question for those of you who have been there before. Have you ever been able to leave with an itemized receipt? I asked 2 of the servers for one and neither seem to understand what I was saying. I was even willing to do a quick hand copy of the bill myself but they wouldn't allow it. Is the credit card receipt all I'm ever going to get from that place? Thanks!
Chefmate Dutch Oven for Target??

Opinions on Cuisinart MultiClad
My understanding is that only the Multiclad line is fully clad.
