Wedding on LI
I am at the early stages of planning a wedding on LI and my main priority is the food. Right now, the front runner for my reception is the Oheka Castle. But, I wanted to check and see if anyone has been to a wedding there and how the food was. Also, what is the best venue for food on LI.

La Cense Beef
My pleasure! It is always fun to try new ingredients. Would love to hear how you like the beef and how you prepared it. I followed one of the recipes from Chef Hoffman of Savoy restaurant on their site..but I am always searching for new ideas.
La Cense Beef
I have had the chance to sample both beef from Lobels and La Cense Beef. It is difficult to compare. Lobels has a fatty beef that I remember from my childhood. But, La Cense Beef is grass-fed so it had a very rich flavor. I was also quite pleased with how fatty it was, which is not typical for a grass-fed beef. As someone who loves beef but doesn't want to kill my cholesterol, I would highly recommend La Cense. Also, I liked the fact that my order arrived perfectly frozen solid at my door. I am new to ordering perishable food online and that was a big relief.
