Buckhead: Gourmet groceries and stores with great beer selections
I'm in town for 24 hours this weekend and wanted to stock up on supplies unavailable to small town folk.
Are there any high end grocery stores around or near bulkhead (I've heard Star Provisions is worth a try)?
Also, I need to find a store with a very good beer selection. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Wine Stores in Hanover/Norwich area
Looking for a wine store in the area with a higher-end selection of California or Rhone wines. Any suggestions?
High End Chicago Market?
In town for several days (staying downtown) and wanted to take several items back home to Mississippi to cook for the holidays. I've heard of Trotters to Go and Fox and Obel. Are these or other places the best sources for high end seafood, meat, game and cheeses or are there better sources?

Asheville, NC Casual and Higher End Suggestions
I'm meeting up with a brother and cousins for a long weekend starting August 14th and need help with local restaurants. We're staying at the Grove Park Inn and will be driving all over the area for golf. I'd like to find a good/fun casual spot for one night and a nicer (doesn't have to be "fine dining") for the second night (maybe steak). I've heard Asheville has a great downtown so any suggestions there would be a plus. Thanks!

Similar question to Piranha's. Dining alone but looking for steakhouse rec's. Food bar is fine or a table is fine.
Larry, Were you really comfortable at Joel alone? I might be willing to give that a try but figured taking up a table by myself would be frowned upon at such a place.
Steakhouses with good half bottle lists in Vegas
Any of the good steakhouses have good half bottle wine lists on the Strip? I'm going to be dining alone and a whole bottle+starter drinks usually starts a trip off on the wrong foot.
Commanders post Katrina
Heading back to New Orleans for the third time since Katrina (trying to do my part). We've been to most of our old favorites post-storm except Commanders. I know they were late to re-open. Are they back to close to 100% with quality of food? It doesn't seem to be a restaruant that is getting much discussion anymore.
Best Steak in Vegas
Thanks to all for the prompt replies. I am a big fan of Tom Colicchio's NY restaurants and was a little surprised that Craftsteak has had such mixed reviews on the message boards. My wife wants to try SW but I heard they've had a recent chef departure. Does anyone have any recent exprience there?
