Santa Monica early dinner
My daughter and I will be going to a show at the Broad theater on the 13th of December. Show starts at 6. We would love to have a nice dinner beforehand. My choices so far start serving at 5. Any recommendations? This is a celebration and we would like it to be nice.

Would love some recommendations of ethnic, or less expensive eats near 59th and Central park west. Mostly breakfast, maybe lunch. Will be out and about for dinner

Point Richmond: The Royal Oak British Pub and Restaurant
I just noticed there is a restaurant in Elk Grove with the same name. Menu looks somewhat similar. Eager to try the newest addition to Point Richmond!
Eats in Santa Cruz?
Gayle's in Capitola is worth the drive and the wait once you get there.
Cafe M is open at 4th St. in Berkeley
My office is nearby Cafe M and we've been waiting for them to open. We had lunch on Monday and for a first day serivce was good and food was great. We shared a crab sandwich, Asian chicken salad and a bowl of the daily soup. Very fresh and well presented. We did order to go, think they will soon realize that this area during the day has a lot of people looking for food to go.
Hope they make it!

Try the Firestone brewery in Buellton. Nice food. Lots of choices at Solvang. Nothing much after Goleta until Buellton.
Ferrara Italy
Back from Ferrara. We did have a wonderful lunch at Antica Trattoria Volano. They had closed the patio but they opened the doors so we could enjoy the beautiful day. We found a market the cathedral that we called our own. I wish that market was near to me in Berkeley!
We had coffee in both of the cafes you mentioned.

Best Burger in Santa Barbara?
My daughter and I were told that the burgers were worth the drive. After about 15 minutes on that road we were not so sure. By the time we arrived we were starving so anything would have done. But those burgers! What a treat. Think I'll take up camping so I can stay there for more than one meal.
