Good, fairly cheap lunch sushi in WeHo? OMI Sushi on Santa Monica and Crescent Heights is good. The cuts of fish are big and very fresh and the prices are very reasonable. The sushi chef and the servers are very nice. |

I'd like to keep it at about $50 pp and I'd like that to include all of the extra charges. Is this even possible? |

Cocktails, wine and beer. I want my guests to be able to choose what they want to drink. |

I am in search of a restaurant/bar/venue that can provide drinks and desserts for a late evening reception for about 120. I am open to any area of LA but would prefer the Westside, Hollywood, or West Hollywood. I would like to keep it under $50 pp. |

The Sensitive Baker in Culver City-On Washington, I think. |

I'm into not too expensive Pinot Noir. I like Black Mountain (the price recently went up to 5.99), Rex (6.99), and Blue Fin (3.99). |

low corkage fee. |

I had a piece of birthday cake from The Senstive Baker a few weeks ago. I'm not a huge cake person, but it was decent. They also sell cupcakes and other baked goods. |

good westside restaurant fun for a big group Fritto Misto in Santa Monica. They have good food and a very small corkage charge. |

I think the OP was talking about a restaurant Ciudad in DTLA and the coupon came from Whole Foods. They have good mojitos and sustainable seafood. |

Local schools that serve good lunches Stay clear of LA Unified. That food is not edible. |

Where can I find a good and authentic Banh Mi? How about any Banh Mi in LA? Not SGV, OC? |

What time does Hungry Cat get busy? We may be going for dinner on Saturday night. I'd like a quieter dinner but I'm all for having some tasty cocktails too. |

I will be staying at a small hotel on State St. this weekend and I am looking for a good place to do breakfast/brunch. I am open to all types of places in all price ranges just as long as it's good food!! For dinner on Sat. night we are going to either Hungry Cat or the Palace or Milk & Honey. Any thoughts on these places?? |

New List: Culver City's What Is Everyone Thinking? I think it's only closed for renovation. Maybe it won't be a tarp-covered restaurant in a parking lot anymore. |

El Carmen (Tequila bar on 3rd and Crescent Heights) expanded their menu not too long ago. They have the best nachos with all of the fixin's-- guacamole, cheese, sour cream, etc. with your choice of meat. All that for about $6 for a huge portion. |

I think the Sopa Azteca is the BEST!!! |
|
|
I saw it at the one in Culver City. They probably have it at the one in We Ho, though. |
|
|
I saw some at Target the other day... |

I second the soup at Monte Alban. I always crave their Chicken Tortilla soup. |
|

I do not know the name of the place that sells the funnel cakes at FM. It's right near Pampas Grill and Magee's. Hope that helps! Just wonder around FM and you'll be sure to find lots of tasty things ! |

Rehearsal Dinner for 50 in Santa Monica/Venice I'm going to a rehearsal dinner at C&O soon--the one closer to Lincoln on Washington. |

Monterey - Big Sur tourist picnic I love the mad libs. Any ideas for an August traveler who is staying for a few days? |
|
|
I am looking for places for picnic supplies as well. Anyone? |

New restaurants in Culver City? I was hoping that space would be occupied by the rumored Father's Office that is coming to Culver City. Anyone know where that is going? |
|
|
I went to that Albertsons (the one next to Costco, right?) the other day looking for them and didn't see them. Guess I'll have to wait til my next Dodger game. |

Passionfish Review with photos Thank you for the review. We are headed up there in a few weeks and that is on our "Must" list. I will let you all know my experience at Passionfish. |

Has anyone been there? Is it any good? |

Location of Los Angeles Kwik-E-Mart? When I drove by the one on Venice and Sepulveda the other day there was a line out the door and parking enforcement in full effect. |
