Hello. I was wondering if anyone might know where to buy lemon cucumbers in the Bay Area? Many thanks!

Starting New Job in Sausalito. Lunch places?
Hello. Fish and Le Garage are good. Sushi Ran for Sushi is awesome!!!! Poggio is good. Farley Bar at Cavallo Point is good. For Indian - Avatar is good. Buckeye Roadhouse is not too far away. Cafe Trieste is good for Pizza, Salads Etc. Sausalito Taco Shop is nice, especially on a nice day. Piccolo Teatro is an option for Italian. Sausalito Gourmet Deli on Caledonia is good for sandwhiches and has a nice outdoor garden. Kitti's for chicken salad. Thai Terrace is also pretty good.

Honeymoon in San Francisco - Eating Tour Suggestion, $1000 Budget for 4 days
Some suggestions I may also through into the mix are Pizzeria Delfina. Could be a fun, casual lunch. For a Michael Mina experience, I would go to RN74 their new wine bar/restaurant. A16 is great. Boulevard might be a lunch option (and a little less expensive at lunch). I agree with the shared chicken suggestion at Zuni. If it is nice weather, you may want to consider a Ferry ride to Sausalito. The sushi at Sushi Ran is amazing. Le Garage (although a little bit of a walk from the Ferry is good for French food sitting out looking on the bay. Slanted Door is also a great option - good food a great view. Hope your trip is super!

Any recent Suppenkuche experiences?
Was there a month ago for brunch. Had a great time. Good food, good service, nice selection of wine & beer. I have spent a great deal of time in Austria and Germany and was impressed with the experience here in the bay area.
Nice lunch in Sausalito
As a 6 year resident and being in the wine business. I would recommend the following:

Le Garage - www.legaragesausalito.com
Poggio - www.poggiotrattoria.com
Best Italian
We are trying Crispo. I will post a report. Thank you all for the suggestions!
Best Italian
We will be in NY and are looking for a great italian restaurant to dine in. We are both in the wine business so something nicer with a great wine list would be ideal. How are the Batali restaurants? Also, other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Meauxbar Bistro
The hanger steak and frites are great. The frites were perfect. Go there website - www.cafedegas.com and print a coupon for up to $12.00 off. Buy one entre get one or appetizer etc. The Hanger Steak and frites are also on their brunch menu. It is a terrific restaurant.
B + B Ristorante - Molto Las Vegas
I have dined several times here and every single time it has been superb. I would highly recommend.
Children's books about food...
It is a children's cookbook. However, Alice Water's wrote "Fanny at Chez Panisse"
Monkey wrench in plan- need to fill one dinner
I would suggest Myth or Blue Plate in the outer mission. If it is a nice evening, Blue Plate has a nice small patio.

Report on Chicago trip 1 (long)
You will love Naha!! There is a spicy tuna that is not on the menu but they will make it when asked (appetizer). It is really impressive.
