Does anyone know of a fishmonger or supermarket that sells Grey Sole? I've been to all the standard supermarkets and it seems that everyone sells Dover Sole or Rock Sole but not Grey. I find it the most delicate and its my personal favorite. Thanks |

Newbie to Los Angeles Board and LA. Used to live on the east coast. Does anyone know where I can get a good lamb noodle soup. I used to get the best one in Flushing. This is what I mean. http://newyork.seriouseats.com/2008/0... thanks in advance. |

New Yorker in LA looking for the best Indian, Chinese, and Pizza! Where do ex-NYers eat?? Comehomenow, I'm moving to LA in the next month or so from NYC (Queens). I was looking for just such a discussion. I had hoped the rumors about LA being subpar on Chinese (or at least NY-Chinese) were wrong. I know that I won't be able the same as Flushing (ah the pan fried flounder and lamb noodle soup ) but I guess the days of shrimp with lobster sauce with a fat egg roll are over. Glad to know SGV has some decent places. |

41-28 Main st. Big Fat Lamb noodles once more Uh, I discovered Qin's? (NYT calls it Sun Ji Hui Mian) when the article came out. Absolutely fantastic. The last 3 months its been closed. There is a sign in chinese which I cannot read. Anyone have any information? Relocation? Or another Lamb Noodle soup place that is the same style with the broad noodles. Thanks. |
