Grey Sole anywhere?

Does anyone know of a fishmonger or supermarket that sells Grey Sole? I've been to all the standard supermarkets and it seems that everyone sells Dover Sole or Rock Sole but not Grey. I find it the most delicate and its my personal favorite.

Thanks

NOT in the San Gabriel Valley-- outrageously good Beijing lamb skewers (yang rou chuan) in.... KOREATOWN! Korean BBQ meets yang rou chuan.... amazing!

Newbie to Los Angeles Board and LA. Used to live on the east coast. Does anyone know where I can get a good lamb noodle soup. I used to get the best one in Flushing.

This is what I mean.

New Yorker in LA looking for the best Indian, Chinese, and Pizza! Where do ex-NYers eat??

Comehomenow,

I'm moving to LA in the next month or so from NYC (Queens). I was looking for just such a discussion. I had hoped the rumors about LA being subpar on Chinese (or at least NY-Chinese) were wrong. I know that I won't be able the same as Flushing (ah the pan fried flounder and lamb noodle soup ) but I guess the days of shrimp with lobster sauce with a fat egg roll are over. Glad to know SGV has some decent places.
Im sure this question has been asked before over and over but is the pizza and chinese objectively worse or just worse to the ny'ers? What's different about it? Why is not possible to create the same food as in NY? Any close approximation would be a huge success. Please don't say the water.

41-28 Main st. Big Fat Lamb noodles once more

Uh, I discovered Qin's? (NYT calls it Sun Ji Hui Mian) when the article came out. Absolutely fantastic. The last 3 months its been closed. There is a sign in chinese which I cannot read. Anyone have any information? Relocation? Or another Lamb Noodle soup place that is the same style with the broad noodles.

Thanks.

Does anyone know where you can get Heirloom/ugly ripes in any part of Queens? I tried Waldbaums Pathmark, Stop and Shop, - I cant find them anywhere.
